Liberals are funny people. And I don’t mean funny ha-ha. They say my body my choice unless that body is a fully independent person with different DNA from them in their womb. That’s not you. It’s someone else. Someone who is probably only there because of a choice you made with your body.
Mass killing is as old as human beings. Reporting-bias is just as old. As is the lesson that bais teaches. Take New Zealand. You’ll be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t heard about how many died. But they do not know thatat least 130 people were killedin an attack in Nigeria a few weeks ago.
The topic of knife-bans in England has not graced our pages for a few months. But back inAprilandJuneof last year, we pondered the problem. Kitchen knives are the weapon of choice for murder in the UK. To avoid the PR nightmare, some supermarket chains have stopped selling them.
In a piece for Politico, Ilhan Omar observed that the Hope and Change of Obama was a mirage. Caging kids at the border. Droning. “We don’t want anybody to get away with murder because they are polished.” Naturally, there was push back, so she denied having made such claims and released audio to prove it.
Senator Rand Paul thinks the budget agreement that gives trump money for a barrier on the southern borderis a win for Trump, but that’s not what caught my eye. In the same article, Rand Paul is quoted on the subject of recent public endorsements by Democrats of late-term abortions.
Post-birth abortion. Abortion right up to the moment of birth. Both show the utter disdain of the unborn by the Left and the utter lengths they will go to in “Othering” new lives and refusing to look at babies, now both born and unborn, as sub-human. After all, if they aren’t human, then there’s no … Read more
We ended last week withnews of Andrew Cuomo’s One World Trade Center Woodyin celebration of New York’s embrace of infanticide. A few days laterI added some thoughts about clinics closingif they couldn’t perform abortions. In the midst of that news broke about a bill in Virginia that would allow abortion when a woman is dilating. That’s, giving birth. When asked for his thoughts the Governor of Virginia probably ended his political career.
As you read this keep in mind that we are in the midst of a “national debate” on security and our southern border. Newsweek is reporting that the murder rate is now so high in Mexico that the average life expectancy of Mexican men has stalled. In some states, it has gone down.
The Truth About Guns (H/T to Susan Olsen) is reporting on the most recent Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA) report on violent crime in major US cities. And unless you are a liberal water-carrier not a lot of explanation for this is needed.
And when we break down the top 20 cities at the top of the list, a few illuminating (although not-so-surprising) facts emerge:
80% of the top 20 Deadliest American Cities are run by Democrats
100% of the top 10 Deadliest Cities in America are… you guessed it: run by Democrats
The Times UK Headline says a lot about what happens when you make it illegal to defend yourself.
“…as stabbings surge.”
Deprived of one tool human nature, emboldened by the state’s disarmament policies, proceeds unhindered in the shadow of a government as incapable of protecting its citizens as Scott Isreal in Parkland (who had an officer on site).
“Democrats in the House and Senate are looking to stop what they say are deceptive advertising practices by anti-abortion health clinics that imply they offer abortion services, but instead encourage birth and promote adoption.” As opposed to Kermit Gosnell’s “Women’s Medical Society”? Are you freaking kidding me?
“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others,” – Orwell.
“Yes, that is correct… All murders aren’t the same”, responded Representative Janice Schmidt (D) Hillsborough 27 – Nashua to a comment asking her about the comparison of the killings in Newtown and those in the Gosnell trial. She wrote this on a comment to my last blog. The subject of the blog noted how the media covered, or didn’t cover, the two killings.
For those that still do not know about the Gosnell trial, it’s finally breaching the news coverage with its gory and lugubrious details, so I’ll sum it up quickly: it’s about an abortionist, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who allegedly killed women and delivered babies only to, again allegedly, impale them with scissors and snip their spinal cord. The Grand Jury Report stated over the years there were over “hundreds of snippings”. My blog’s point was that the lack of coverage of the Gosnell trial, especially when juxtaposed with the media gusher of the Newtown tragedy, is the product of extreme liberal media bias.
Apparently, I piqued compassionate Janice and she did what Janice does, and sounded off.
What the hell? I’ve been swamped this passed week and haven’t been able to pay attention to the world as closely as I should. I just ran ocular first into this Washington Time’s headline: “White House: All questions answered on Benghazi attack”
Iowahawk posted this at Breitbart yesterday and there is simply no way to excerpt it, without losing the point so I have included it in it’s entirety. The conclusion is Iowahawks as well….(enjoy) Chicago, IL Houston, TX Population 2.7 million 2.15 million Median HH income $38,600 $37,000 % African-American 32.9% 24% % Hispanic 28.9% 44% … Read more
Maybe you heard the tale? A Washington Times Communities article (also reported by Newsmax) suggested that the University of Chicago, which owns the Chicago apartment property of former President Ronald Reagan, was planning to demolish it to make way for a parking lot for the Obama Library. According to the people dedicated to preserving that property, that is not true.
The claim published inNewsmaxtoday and theWashington Timeson Friday, re-posted in Drudge, that the University of Chicago is planning to demolish the Reagan home at 832 E. 57th Street to make way for a parking lot for the Obama Presidential Library is utterly inaccurate, according to informed sources in Hyde Park.
WND is reporting that since the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan (2001 to present) 2,166 Americans have died there. From 2003 to present, 4,797 people have been murdered in the city of Chicago.
Chicagostan is more dangerous to the life expectancy of American’s than Afghanistan. And in case you forgot, Afghanistan is a war zone.
And remember Iraq?
Operation Iraqi Freedom, the name for the war in Iraq, which started March 20, 2003, and ended Dec. 15, 2011, saw a total of 4,422 killed.
We had to ‘pull out’ of Iraq. No more American blood would be spilled there. So is it time to pull out of Chicagostan?
Actually, I have found elbows and knees to be extremely effective as well( in my younger (and lighter) days when sparring…): This shows that Liberals out to restrict “assault weapons” are wanting to create policy from a fear / emotional standpoint instead of dealing with reality. (H/T: The Blaze)
20 innocent children. Full of promise. Harming no one. Dead. Murdered by a stranger bent on their destruction. Guns don’t kill children. People do. 1.2 million innocent children. Full of promise. Harming no one. Dead. Murdered by strangers with the explicit permission of their mothers. Scalpels don’t kill children. In 2011, their mothers and their mothers’ … Read more
