Keep this in mind as this was definitively told to me: The District does not lie to parents. Yep, I took that person at their word, sorta (backstory later). But that is an official pronouncement. Like “Hunter hasn’t done anything wrong.” –
Gilford School Board
An Update from Last Monday’s Gilford School Board’s Meeting: Policy JBAB
“Should” does not mean “shall” or “must” but is a permissive term. Nothing in this Policy limits the rights of individuals under the federal or state constitutions. About time that our Constitutions are brought front and center! Most of what I wanted to say, I did here (“Gilford School Board Meeting – They Have Finally Seen the Light! … Read more
Gilford School Board Meeting 9/12/22. Policy JBAB (transgender & nonbinary students) on the agenda
There were all the “normal” items that they go through in a school board meeting but the interest from the few “public” folks that were there was on Policy JBAB that the NH School Board Association deep-sixed and basically told any District that had adopted it that they were on their own (including Gilford) – … Read more
I Went to the Gilford School Board Meeting Last Night and Gave Them a Present – They Were Not Amused.
New School Year. A new set of meetings. And I went to it. While not the main topic and reason why I attended was for a redo of Policy JBAB (Transgender and Non-Conforming Students NonBinary), it is now, yet again, an issue. Sidenote: And this is the problem with Wokeness – almost every day, the … Read more
Cracks in the Gilford School Board’s Continuing Support of Policy Jbab (Unfreedom of Speech, Lying to Parents)?
Last Wednesday night(6/15) was a joint meeting of the Gilford and Gilmanton School Boards held in Gilmanton rather than in Gilford (happens a few times a year) but in two parts. The first part was concerning the High School; Gilmanton tuitions its high schoolers to Gilford and that’s why this two-part meeting is held. It … Read more
Gunstock Commish Kiedaisch: My ByLaws Trump State Statutes. Gilford School Board: Brava!
This is the status of Civics nowadays – by “grown-ups” old enough to know better (and better educated, supposedly).
Gilford School District Lawsuit – Dismissed Due to “Lack of Standing”
My Gilford school district lawsuit has been dismissed due to “lack of standing”- Summary:
Personal Endorsement: Michelle Tyler for Gilford School Board
I heartily endorse Michelle Tyler for one of the two open School Board seats in Gilford! I’ve met with her on several occasions and listened to her during School Board meetings arguing that the Board MUST listen to Parents more and acknowledge that Parents are the ultimate authority when it comes to their children.
In Other Words, Lie to Parents!
The Gilford School Board’s Policy JBAB has a “Privacy” section that assigns yet ANOTHER “Right” to a minor child that tells the Staff to NOT tell Parents about the Transgender Status of that child while on school grounds.
Mask Mandates Ending?
So now that the CDC has admitted openly (not hidden in a CDC-funded study) that cloth masks don’t work are you still going to insist on this obsession with masking children?
Why Is Glad’s Chris Erchull So Interested in My Lawsuit against the Gilford School Board?
Last Tuesday was the latest hearing on my Policy JBAB lawsuit against the Gilford School Board. This is their implementation, via the NH School Board Association, of what was SB263 which made “gender identity” yet another Protected Class like religion, race, national origin (and the like) with respect to discrimination.
Gilford School Board: Yes, You’re Being Sued. And Yes, I Have Receipts
Yep, I made sure that the complaint could be seen as I let the Gilford School Board know they are going to “have a meeting” with the Judicial Branch. So, here it is: And the Summons which should delight the couple on the Board that thought this wasn’t live until they “got served”: Yes, … Read more
Gilford School Board: Yes, You’re Being Sued. And Yes, I’m Serious.
Yep, they were warned (here, and here, ). And all over a completely avoidable issue: answer the dang questions! But no, with Chair Gretchen Gandini “guiding the silenced” these Elected Representatives who fancy themselves to be “School Board Members” that believe they are above the law just got a quick jerk on their choke chains:
Gilford School Board – RTK this: Signed Copies of Policy BCA that mandates a Code of Ethics – The Response.
“Wonnerful, wonnerful, wonnerful…So why do you have a Policy that you can’t enforce and to which no one has agreed to follow by assenting to it in writing? “
Gilford School Board – RTK this: Signed Copies of Policy BCA that mandates a Code of Ethics.
Really? So School Board are assuming that merely by dint of winning a School Board race, the winning candidate is automatically enrolled into following a Code of Ethics? Funny, I always thought such a document had to be signed by consent? This Policy give NO ability of a School Board Member to do either #9 or … Read more
Why Would a School Board Not Want to Answer a Constituent’s Questions?
Why would a School Board not want to answer a constituent’s questions or concerns regarding their child’s education? Moreover, why would the Chairperson not respond to a right-to-know request pursuant to RSA 91-A that was submitted multiple times over the past year regarding public information?
We Know the Accused Domestic Abusing Superintendent is on Leave … IS HE ON PAID LEAVE?
I sent in another right to know that has to do what “they” told the Laconia Daily Sun. That Gilford Superintendent Kirk Beitler is “on leave” until October (when the first hearing is to be held). That’s not the question people are asking – is it PAID or UNPAID Leave?
The Gilford School Board Isn’t Too Happy with Me – Knowing What To Ask For!
So, I’m suing. And this is entirely on the Gilford School Board simply because they were too arrogant to answer simple questions. Most School Boards are.
Isn’t the School Board Supposed to Know What Their Powers Are (Or How They Got Them)?
I’m in the process of suing the Gilford School Board for not following the law in their own policies. Every School Board has a lot of Policies covering how they are to act, and governance matters.
