Hey, This Democrat Nit-Wit Sounds Just like Former NH State Rep Cynthia Chase (as in “Let’s Make Life Harder for Our Residents!”)

Ok, perhaps a bit of a stretch, but stick with me here.  NH State Rep Cynthia Chase’s utterances concerning the Free State Project movers to NH (below)  made it up to the Rush Limbaugh show years ago when Steve wrote about her.  This video clip isn’t the Democrat herself but her Republican rival simply quoting/commenting … Read more

The Free State Project in New Hampshire: Eager beavers fight it out with eager socialists…

Oh_No_Guns_White
The quote above should read “Oh No! Freestaters!” Heh…

State Rep. Cynthia Chase made herself famous not that long ago when she wrote “In the opinion of this Democrat, Free Staters are the single biggest threat” to achieving socialism in New Hampshire. Well…she didn’t actually say “achieving socialism.” I just added that to make her thought process clearer (after all, she’s a recent import from Rhode Island). But as each day goes by, it appears her problems with diversity in New Hampshire seem to be increasing. This report comes from Fox News yesterday:

Zandra “Rice-Out-Of-State-Palooza” Hawkins

Out of State funded, Colorado Model, intrusive Democrat Agenda-thumper Zandra Rice Hawkins of Granite State Progress, is a progressive mole, and paid lobbyist, planted by the out of state agenda-mill Progress Now to operate as a “local” left wing propaganda machine.  (Progress Now is an extension or partner with Democracy Alliance   both of which are funded by politically connected liberal millionaires none of whom are from or live in New Hampshire).

Out-of-state-funded-So-called in-state activist Hawkins latest event featured out of state parents whose children were tragically killed in a different state from ours,  so that they could come here and tell our US Senator (Kelly Ayotte) how she should vote.

Democrats are not (NOT)  suggesting that Democrat Dick Patten resign–he is accused of stalking and what amounts to sexual harassment.

“A city man has received a temporary stalking order against Rep. Dick Patten, D-Concord, after the man complained Patten allegedly tried to kiss him and was repeatedly calling and texting him, according to the Concord Monitor, which broke the story Tuesday.”

(The Democrats may have managed to spike that story about Dick in major media so it would not outshine the Tremblay remarks that they wanted to push.  No comment on that either.)

Democrats did not suggest that Rep Cynthia Chase resign when she said straight out that Democrats and the state government could use the power of the state to”…make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave.”  The Castro brothers would have loved that.   And that was awfully embarrassing to New Hampshire.  Chase is still in office isn’t she?  Oh yea…here she is, a few weeks ago, doing the “peoples” work.

But they are trying to get Rep. Stella Tremblay to resign for simply remarking on Glenn Becks web site that the government is somehow involved in the goings-on with the Boston Marathon Bombing.

So Dick may be guilty of a crime.   Cynthia Chase is guilty of fomenting legislative tyranny.  Stella is guilty of exercising free speech and not trusting the government.   It’s a typical day in the hypocrats tyrannical, left-wing, homosexual bullying neighborhood.

Who Can You Trust?

Stella Tremblay, a New Hampshire House Republican (Auburn), is on the media chopping block for being a little bit Alex Jones, and bit too much Glenn Beck.  Seems she posted some remarks on Beck’s site that comport with conspiracy theories regarding the Boston Marathon Bombings, and the Federal Government’s Complicity.

Posted to Beck’s site–as reported by HuffPo…

Just as you said would happen. Top Down, Bottom UP. The Boston Marathon was a Black Ops “terrorist” attack. One suspect killed, the other one will be too before they even have a chance to speak. Drones and now “terrorist” attacks by our own Government. Sad day, but a “wake up” to all of us. First there was a “suspect” then there wasnt. Infowars broke the story and they knew they had been “found out”.

NH Ranked in Top 5 in Overall Freedom, That’s Good Right? Well…

New Hampshire is doing pretty well as we start 2013.  First it was revealed that, “NH Ranked 10th Best State for Gun Owners by Guns & Ammo Magazine”.  That’s good news.  Especially when one considers we might need it with all of the leftists that can no longer afford to live in the surrounding states or other Big Gov states because of the policies for which they voted, so they decided to uplift their considerable derrieres (at least this literally true in one case of a transplant from RI) and come here to infect us with the same contagion that drove them from their former dwellings.

Today comes news that New Hampshire is ranked in the top 5 for “Freedom in the 50 States 2013.” by the Mercatus Center and George Mason University.  This ranking, “… is a combination of personal and economic freedoms.”  Nice!

Wait, not so fast.  There’s a pattern here, from the analysis

At least Cynthia was awake…….

This arrived in my email this morning…….David Karrick, Democrat, Merrimack District 25 (Andover, Boscawen, Salibury, Warner & Webster)….

Oh no! State Rep. Cynthia Chase…AGAIN?

Cynthia Chase, an immigrant from Rhode Island, recently made headlines when she urged Democrats to pass laws restricting the freedoms of NH state citizens…to discourage Free State Project participants from wanting to move to the Live Free or Die state (I kid you not). That was odd, and it made national news…but even odder is this … Read more

Cynthia Chase Plays Solitaire During Floor Debate at NH State House.

NH For Liberty has this great picture of Rhode Island transplant and ideological xenophobe Cynthia Chase (Democrat) playing a game of Solitaire on her nice, big, shiny tablet, during a House floor debate. Great job whomever– (I did not see a photo credit or I’d provide one.) I’ll be sure to send this up the ladder like … Read more

“Chase” That Chill Away – HB 307 is Dead.

Last Wednesday the New Hampshire House voted on HB 307, an act relative to government being a big pain in the ass.  Wait…that would be most of the bills and all of the ones written by Democrats.   I’ll be more specific.

HB 307 AN ACT relative to the removal of certain wood stoves upon the sale of a home and notification of such removal to the department of environmental services.

While that might keep someone at DES from wasting your tax dollars surfing the Internet, the committee released it to the House as Inexpedient to legislate. (From the House record)

The purpose of the bill was relative to the removal and destruction of certain woodstoves not certified for sale as new after July 1, 1986 by the government protection agency. The reason given was to reduce excessive particulate discharge from certain inefficient wood burning stoves. The committee had questions about enforcement, and financial reimbursement of the owner’s property, hence the ITL motion. Vote 13-6.

When it came time for the floor vote to put an end the HB 307 nine legislators voted to try and save it.

Tyranny #1 – Where Steve Vaillancourt decides to make it about himself…and approves of overt threats of Tyranny

They may as well attack me as well.”   OK, battle joined – you asked, we’ll oblige: You’re an arse of a Libertarian for siding with Statists that promote promise threaten Governmental Tyranny against fellow citizens simply for holding opposing political views.

This is the first of a series of posts about Governmental Tyranny (or in this case, the threatening thereof) set this against the current Second Amendment Right battle being waged by those that would willingly disarm law-abiding Citizens.  Sure, they say that they respect “legitimate” uses for hunting and some forms of sport shooting, but lesser respect for the use of firearms for self-defense. And when it comes to the real reason that the second Amendment exists, to be able to credibly fight against a tyrannical government,  it seems that scoffing or demonizing (see our posts on the English wanker Piers Morgan strewn all over the ‘Grok lately) is in order using one of two arguments:

  • Do you really expect to win a fight against the US Military?
  • The US Government will never become tyrannical – it just can’t happen here.

Here’s the back story: this stems back to Grokster Steve’s post on NH State Rep (Democrat) Cynthia Chase’s threat to use the force of the State of New Hampshire Government to screw over a group of people simply because this recent transplant from RI cannot stand that they want less government over their lives and her philosophy / religion demands more. So she threatens:

“What we can do is make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave.  One way is to pass measures that will restrict freedoms that they think they will find here.”

It seems de riguer / all the rage for Democrats lately: “You disagree with me politically – thus, I shall destroy you personally.  I will use Government to take stuff away from you”.  As Grokster Steve put it “Sounds more like tyranny“.  Rush Limbaugh agreed with Steve!  Even the UL recognized the inherent danger in what she said:

A much greater threat lies in the dictatorial impulses of legislators who find it permissible to reshape the electorate in their favor through the selective dismemberment of our liberties.”

Dictatorial.  The simple word for this is tyranny.  And Grokster Susan got the tweet from NH State Rep (Democrat) Peter Sullivan that amplifies the Democrat mantra:

A message for Democrat NH State Rep Cynthia Chase from the Free State Project

Representative Chase? A message from the Free Staters of NH from the 2nd Amendment Rally – to paraphrase Sally Fields “We really like you, we really do!”.  Note to Cynthia – if you REALLY thought that your outburst was going to chase them off, well, they have a sign for you: Heh!

Some Free Advice To Free Staters

It is not beyond the pale to suspect Democrats of using anonymous blog handles and throw away email addresses, to pose as Free Staters in polls, surveys, and online social media, for the purpose of advancing their narrative, particularly after the national attention received by the tyrannical Cynthia Chase. The left has the money and … Read more

“What we can do is to make the environment here so unwelcoming…”

WMUR has a story about a radio poll gone wild.  The Girard at Large program held an on-line poll seeking votes for Manchester New Hampshire person of the year; it attracted more than 44,000 responses complete with comments they thought were a bit over the top.

…on social media, the unofficial race turned ugly, with one author saying, “The only reason the cop is being nominated is because he was shot, not killed, while on the clock.”

Another writer used the word “pig” to reference another Manchester police officer who was killed in the line of duty. It was not the sort of dialogue Girard said he was expecting.

Wow.  Edgy!  And of course, no, not really, and the reporter must have sensed that.  Why else would they call New Hampshire Democrat House Rep. Cynthia Chase for her thoughts on the story?

Blue Hampshire Hits Reset Button on Democrat Cynthia Chase?

Blue Hampshire Resets Democrat Cynthia Chase
Blue Hampshire Resets Democrat Cynthia Chase

ALG’s Daily Grind at Net Right Daily is reporting the rantings of New Hampshire Democrat Cynthia Chase…with a Tweest!  OK, it’s actually an update.

The blog post from Rep. Cynthia Chase has been pulled down. In fact the whole website, BlueHampshire.com was completely reset today just as light was being shed on the questionable blog post from Cynthia Chase. Convenient. Fortunately, we have the cached version of her post so that her words will forever be documented on the world wide web.

(emphasis mine)

How convenient, indeed.

I wonder what else went missing from the keyboard of the progressive Democrat Cynthia “I moved here from Rhode Island” Chase?

Whatsa matta John DiStaso, don’t like the ‘Grok much?

“As New Hampshirite Steve MacDonald notes, “this sounds like tyranny.”

Given that Rush Limbaugh brought up NH Democrat House Rep Cynthia Chase’s name (AND STEVE MAC DONALDS!!) this past Friday, it was expected that the local NH media would be FORCED to also give a few column inches as well.  And DiStaso of the UL does so (reformatted and emphasis mine) – reluctantly.  But guess who he left out?

FRIDAY, JAN. 4: GOING VIRAL. A Democratic state lawmaker’s recent web post critical of the libertarian-leaning Free State Project has gone virtually viral in the past few days and, as one might expect, has drawn criticism.  Reacting to reports that the Free State Project is aggressively trying to bring 20,000 supporters to live in the state over the next two years, Rep. Cynthia Chase, D-Keene, wrote on BlueHampshire.com:  “In the opinion of this Democrat, Free Staters are the single biggest threat the state is facing today.”

She went on to write that while there is “legally, nothing we can do to prevent them from moving here to take over the state, which is their openly stated goal,” she proposed making “the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave.”

Chase continued, “One way is to pass measures that will restrict the ‘freedoms’ that they think they will find here. Another is to shine the bright light of publicity on who they are and why they are coming.”

…The post this week was picked up by the Breitbart.com website, the creation of the late conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart, with columnist Warner Todd Huston opining:

Warner – a long time Samsphere blogger buddy of mine – got the story from GraniteGrok which he reads often as we are the leading Conservative / Libertarian leaning blogsite in NH.  He and I think a lot of like, and he likes what we do, commenting on local politics.  Anyway, see these next lines from DiStaso’s post quoting Warner’s?

Cynthia Chase Moved Here From Rhode Island – Recently

Rhode Island - This is not New Hampshire
This is not New Hampshire

New Hampshire Democrat Cynthia Chase (Cheshire Dist 8) is getting a lot of press.  Her comments have gone viral.  While I’m happy to have played my small part, the benefits go a lot further; people are searching the original story, landing on FreeKeene,  Reason.com, coming across Dr. Tom Woods original report, even cruising over to GraniteGrok where the Breitbart story was sourced, which ended up on Rush Limbaugh.

And they are discovering that the same woman who views Free Staters moving to New Hampshire as a threat is herself a self-admitted, pro-Alinsky, progressive transplant from Rhode Island.  (Makes for a great followup doesn’t it?)

A fan of the radical Saul Alinsky here to ruin the New Hampshire Advantage no doubt.  And the kicker?  She admits she has only lived here since 2006.
