Rush Limbaugh Mentions Me On The Air.

by Steve MacDonald

Rush LimbaughThis goes into the “Wow that’s kind of cool category.”  Today Rush Limbaugh mentioned me by name.  I didn’t hear it but Skip called me from the road, and he was pretty darn excited for me.

Rush was reporting on the Breitbart post that Warner Todd Huston put up linking to my GraniteGrok post about Democrat Cynthia Chase.  So I give all the credit for Warner.  Thanks for sharing.  I got a serious kick out of being mentioned on the most listened to radio show in America.

But I have to wonder, as people give me digital high-fives and attaboys, just how much street-cred does this give to Ms. Chase?  My earnest hope is that the weight of her remarks humbles her into reevaluating her worldview, but seeing as she is a New Hampshire Democrat the NHDP will probably give her an award and throw her a party for having Limbaugh call her out.

Such is the nature of the divide.   Accused of Legislative Tyranny –Way to go Progressive Girlfriend!

Meanwhile,  it is only January 4th.  I’ve been linked to on Breitbart and Rush Limbaugh has quoted me on the air.  Not a bad start to 2013.  (And I was just awarded AFP’s blogger of the month for December 2012).  I can’t say I expect the rest of the year to be more interesting but I’ll keep writing and sharing as I always do and whatever happens, happens.

(Transcript on the jump -MP3 available later today.)

Rush Limbaugh –

NH Democrat seeks to restrict Freedoms of conservatives

RUSH: “A New Hampshire legislator wants her constituents to know that she feels conservatives are the ‘single biggest threat’ her state faces today, and she wants to use her powers to legislate to ‘pass measures that will restrict’ the freedoms of Granite State conservatives. In a blog post made last month on the left-wing site Blue Hampshire, 3rd District State Representative Democrat Cynthia Chase,” and there’s a picture of her here, and that’s all I’m going to say.

There’s a picture here of Cynthia Chase, and she “advised her fellow legislators to use their positions to make New Hampshire less welcoming to any conservative or libertarian planning on moving to her state — not to mention those already in residence. For those unaware, a conservative project of sorts has been underway in New Hampshire since 2001. The idea is that Americans of conservative ideals are to move to New Hampshire, gather in communities, run for office, and work to drive the state toward libertarianism and conservatism.”

There’s a movement that has been orchestrated throughout the country to convince conservatives to move to New Hampshire and to make inroads politically and to try to wrest control of the state, in a democratic fashion. That’s why this state legislator, Cynthia Chase, is all upset. I’ve told you in the past that liberals consider us the biggest threat that they face — a bigger threat than Al-Qaeda, a bigger threat than any terrorist group, a bigger threat than any other nation. We conservatives are the biggest threat they face, and Ms. Chase here is making this abundantly clear.

She wants to purposely use her powers to write laws to target individuals with whom she disagrees, take away their freedoms and liberties, all in the hope that the citizens that she is oppressing might ultimately leave. That’s what her objective is. Cynthia Chase wants conservatives to leave New Hampshire, and she wants to effect this by writing legislation that targets their liberty and targets their freedom. Steve MacDonald, a New Hampshire resident said, “[T]his sounds like tyranny.”

Now, imagine, if you will, if a state legislator had written a blog post targeting the freedoms of gays or targeting the freedoms of women or some other minority. What if? What if some legislator wrote a blog post and said, “We are never going to allow Justin Bieber into our state”? Can you imagine the hell to pay? But people are now actually considering this since the target is conservatives.

RUSH: Cynthia Chase, the legislator in New Hampshire who wants to target conservatives and limit their freedom so they’ll leave? I said there’s a picture of her. She looks like a Teamster. That’s the best way to describe it. We’ll link to it.

  • I heard it, too!

  • Very nice. Well done.
Love the “looks like a teamster” bit, too.

  • granitegrok

You know, I generally try to be kind to dim-wits, but this takes the cake. Yo, stupid – READ THE TRANSCRIPT.

And are you going to call me a liar – I listened to Rush as he mentioned Steve specifically by name!

And the Breitbart blogger, Warner Todd Huston, is one of my Samsphere blogger buddies – he reads the ‘Grok on a regular basis which is how he heard about your Tyrannical Democrat buddy.

So Timmy, what WOULD Democrats do to take Freedoms away from ALL of us, huh?

I am certain Mr. Horrigan will do the right thing and apologize.

      • granitegrok

Clock’s ticking, Timmy. Ante up the “I’m sorry, Steve!” or else you prove that old maxim: Being a Democrat means never having to say you’re sorry

        • nhsteve

          Tim who?

      • C. dog e. doG

He’s too busy trolling for co-eds now that he’s back in office to make it easier for them to vote for cool Prez candidates in 1st-in-the-nation primary; kinda like roadies picking up band cast-offs.

May I leave an Atta-Boy here as well!
It might be nice to have a link to Rush with all the moonbats elected to the legislature this time.
You can count on the new Democrats in NH to say the most hateful things to get attention.
    Let the fun begin.

  • Obviously, you weren’t listening, Timmy….Rush said, “Sounds like Tyranny to me,” says Steve MacDonald”

Please Timothy . . . don’t come in here and rain on the groksters parade. This is one of the biggest moments – if not the biggest moment – of their lives! I’m sure that orgasms were had at the computer keyboards of all of them while hearing it on Limbaugh, blogging (or is it flogging) about it, and congratulating each other for it. Let them have their little moment. Apparently all they have to live for is hopingtheir little bligitty-blog comes across the radar of one of their conservative superstars.

Poor Dan, the hunting-for-his-masculinity man. All he’s got is periodic panderings printed on the Concord Moronitor fis-wrapper with which to feather his chapeau. Still sharing your weighty thoughts with the captive audience in your government-issue classroom?

Chase was mentioned for wanting to purposefully restrict peoples freedoms to run them off. Do all New Hampshire Democrats feel she should be proud of that?

  • Kevin Kervick

It is great recognition for your hard work. I enjoy your writing style.

    • nhsteve

      Thanks Kevin.

Hi Granite Grok. I heard this on Limbaugh for the first
Time.that led me here. I’ve been looking for something like this in NH.
Wmur or CONCORD monitor ect.make me sick.
    You are now my newspaper.
I may be “overreacting “but i feel we are at war
How a person like Cynthia Chase can get elected in NH
    i beyond me.IM astonished.
And wasn’t there a left wing movement to make NH blue
The NH project may repair the damage.
    God bless you
    Bill Crowley

Welcome, Bill – glad to be of “newspaper” service and thanks for reading GraniteGrok! We are all about individual Liberty & Freedom from a Conservative (with libertarian leanings) – so stay tuned. We refuse to cede the blogosphere to those that hate the radical Principles of our Founders that made us the richest, most powerful, and the most free nation in history. We refuse to let anyone take that from us without a fight.

Oddly enough i just found this on YouTube comments. Guns are not the problem, its drugs. Their solving nothing going after guns, not that we don’t know that.
        Here the link
Hope you don’t mind my input

      Bill –
Invite all your liberty-loving friends, especially around voting time now that they only need be mobile-domiciled in order to cast their paper for the pol of their choice. Perhaps we could throw a send-off part to send the mighty Aphrodite – Cyndi (timmy horrigan’s pet name) Chase – on her way back to MA-MA next election. I’ll pony up the bus fair.

Hate filled Cynthia Chase should be the face of the Democrat party. It should be discussed in every conversation. Cynthia Chase needs to be hung on every democrat running in NH and should be associated with every democrat trying to pass a bill. You democrats are going to get a taste of your own medicine.
