Ok, perhaps a bit of a stretch, but stick with me here. NH State Rep Cynthia Chase’s utterances concerning the Free State Project movers to NH (below) made it up to the Rush Limbaugh show years ago when Steve wrote about her. This video clip isn’t the Democrat herself but her Republican rival simply quoting/commenting on what her Democrat rival’s intentions will be if she gains office. BOTH Democrat Progressives (Chase and Balint) have the same thing in mind: themselves and their ideas FIRST and if it hurts “the little people” they are supposed to represent, well, broken eggs/omelets and collateral damage. The END GOAL! is the important item and who cares if it hurts those they are supposed to represent? One was to kill people in a philosophical way and one may well kill some in a physical way:
CHASER: Redic: ‘Let Miss Balint know how much extra you would like to pay for heat’
How much more expensive can the cost of living be in Vermont? Becca Balint wants you to pay more! She says we should “tax the hell” out of fossil fuels. That’s why she supports Carbon Taxes, clean heat standards and the various other penalties she believes will make Vermonters change their furnaces. I wonder if she knows how much a furnace costs?
Yeah, birds of a feather – Progressive Chase wanted to hurt us by taking away our freedoms – a “nudge” to keep the Free Staters out of NH by decreasing OUR Freedoms now. And she had no problem in trying to push that forward. A NH based issue that went national.
Balint, however, is a Progressive that is sitting on the “Keep it in the ground!” train that’s so full of her fellow “Govt First and WE tell you how to live” travelers, she’s probably having to sit on the top of a boxcar. For her ideological bent, she’s willing to put the low income people at risk: Food over heat? Heat over medicine? Bankruptcy? Or a cold transition to that eternal rest from freezing in the cold Vermont winter?
Balint doesn’t care if it gets in the way of some many of the Left’s incessant (and ridiculous rush to “Electrify EVERYTHING”!) in ditching fossil fuels prematurely. Look at Britain, look at Germany, look at the Netherlands, look at Canada, look at Sri Lanka, look at many other countries that are doing the Davos/World Economic Forum Renewable/ESG Bugaloo two step. In each case, the result is energy poverty, job poverty, heating poverty, food poverty – and real economic poverty.
They are insisting that we affirm their view of Utopia that can never exist – and they are hellbent on making us do so.
