Democrats like to use legislative force to regulate firearms in the name of public safety, but like their climate agenda, there is no evidence that their solutions work as advertised and ample proof they do not.

No Place Is Safe From Evil
We are used to recapping the shooting numbers in Chicago on Monday for the weekend. Sadly, it is tantamount to checking the weekend box scores. This Memorial Day weekend was no different in Chicago, as eleven were killed and 53 were shot, including two two-year-old children.
How Many Retailers Closing Will It Take To Admit Failure
Nordstrom announced on Wednesday that they would close their two stores in San Francisco after 35 years of serving the fashion needs and wants of the Bay Area. There have been twenty significant retailers that have closed up shop in San Francisco since
Vermont Dems Propose Bill to Hide Child-Rape and Sex Trafficking from Parents
Vermont Democrats have created a state where it appears necessary to ensure that 12-year-olds can get treated for sexually transmitted diseases without telling their parents. Isn’t a better question or concern, where in Vermont are 12-year-olds getting STDs?
UK Escalates War to End Knife Violence
First, London and then the rest of the UK have been on a years-long experiment to end knife violence. And we’ve been making fun of them as criminals deprived of other means have taken to using knives on people their government has disarmed.
Businesses Leave Chicago To Make Room For DNC
There are many potential reasons for and sub-stories about the Democrat National Committee’s (DNC) decision to hold the 2024 Convention in the Homicide Capitol of the country. The DNC has named Chicago to host the convention that should start the reelection campaign of Joe Biden.
Dem City Crime Forces Whole Foods To Close Flagship Store in San Francisco
I wonder what homicide Detective Mike Stone and his upstart partner Inspector Steve Keller would think of 21st-century life on The Streets of San Francisco. The characters would be appalled. So are most retailers.

Amazon is Closing Retail Stores in Dem-Run Cities ‘cuz Crime!
Amazon can be #woke, so it was amusing when it got crap for launching a unique retail experience. Cashless stores were racist or something. But the online giant persisted until recently. Amazon has announced it is closing some of these stores.
Progressives Duck as Pendulum Swings Back
Signs are becoming evident that the sentiment on crime in this country is finally swinging back to reality. Republican Lee Zeldin was unsuccessful in unseating Kathy Hochul for the Governor’s office in New York. Still, his anti-crime platform was strong enough to sweep Republicans into many statewide offices. The performance in such a solid Blue … Read more
Things We Won’t Talk About
Over the past few years, the list of things most Americans won’t speak of or discuss has become a long list. A recent addition to that list is the dramatic increase of people “suddenly dying” since around October 2021. Why is there a huge increase in excess deaths across Western Civilization?
Burlington VT Mayor and City Council Want More Cops But Will They Have Their Back – And Why Would They?
If you looked through the haze and smoke from all those peaceful protests back in 2020, you saw some things. The Democrat Cop haters running Burlington, Vermont, for example, defunded the city police force. Before that, they had 92 sworn officers. Today, they are down to sixty-three, twenty-two of whom are on actual patrol. Why yes, crime is up.
Not Enough White Men Are Killing Each Other and That’s Racist
When it comes to Democrats, what you get never aligns with the shiny brochure of narratives they sell you – it’s usually the opposite. Take Black Lives Matter. Since the Summer of 2020, The Left couldn’t shut up about it, but since then, black men have been dying at a record-setting pace.
Democrat Rule Will Do that: Vermont Has Its Highest Homicide Rate in Three Decades
If you are looking for a silver lining, this report on spiking homicides in increasingly-crime-riddled Democrat Vermont does imply that at some point in the past, there were more homicides in a year than in 2022.
Bouncing Back
Is it just me or are we starting to see the price of gas increasing again? Hope not but a couple of stations look like it. One thing is we can be happy we are not out in California where it’s at $6.00 or more but there is no reason it should be above $2.00 … Read more
Defund-The Police Sanctuary City Has to Pay State Troopers Overtime to Patrol Downtown
After basking in the fiery glow of BLM Summer, the geniuses running the city of Burlington, Vermont, defunded their police force. The 30% budget cut had two immediate effects. Crime rose, and they had trouble hiring police officers. But they’ve decided on a temporary solution.
No, the Democrats (NH’s Hassan, Shaheen, Kuster, and Pappas) Can Never Out Run “Defund the Police” Albatross around Their Necks
And they did it to themselves. I DVR Fox News’s “The Five” because I like to watch/listen to smart people talking about the issues of the day. On Thursday’s show (which I am just watching as I type this), their first segment had this as their topic and had a clip of all Democrat candidates … Read more
SAFE-T Act Denies Police Ability To Remove Trespassers From Private Property, Abolishes Cash Bail
The latest disaster waiting to unfold will now take place in Illinois. Chiraq, helmed by the horribly inept and clueless Lori Lightfoot, has long dominated the list of deadliest cities in America. Still, this wasn’t enough for state legislators and bat-s*** crazy governor J.B. Pritzker.
One of the “Safest*” Democrat Run Cities in America Passes 500 Murders for 2022
In Progressive mythology, gun control does not mean a tight grouping on the target; it means disarming law-abiding citizens. A corollary to that is making it as difficult or expensive as possible for those who insist on protecting themselves. The stated goal is public safety but the reality is the inverse.
Political Ad – “Stop the Insanity”
Sky News Australia has a segment that includes a very powerful political ad created by a group called Citizens for Sanity. The focus? The political left’s obsession with giving criminals more rights than everyday, law-abiding Americans.
