Ask Carol Shea-Porter, well–ask any New Hampshire Democrat actually, about warrant-less wire taps. Remember those? The Democrats got all wound up about them under a previous president, but lets be honest; it was not because they really gave a damn about your rights or your privacy.

They got wound up because they viewed it as a political opportunity. They felt that they could win votes and seats (and political power) by bashing George Bush and Republicans on that particular issue if they talked about it enough.

What’s that? You don’t believe me when I tell you Democrats didn’t really care? You don’t think it was just about politics and power? Well why haven’t we heard a word out of them about this issue since Obama came to office?

Or didn’t you know? According to the ACLU…more people were subjected to pen register and trap and trace surveillance in the past two years than in the entire previous decade.

Michelle Obama Minister of crappy public school lunches — Eat that spinach…Eat it!

S.3307 (2010) is the legislation that empowered the Feds to regulate local school lunches. It is the regulation that is driving up the cost of school lunches by law because the law demands parity of price regardless of cost. It is the law that limits the number of calories and other nutritional elements to a national standard, regardless of a student’s size or activity level. It is the law that limits menu choices to those defined by the central government, choices kids are rejecting in large numbers, resulting in food being wasted. (Food that costs more because of the law.)

Kids are hungry. High School Athletes are under-nourished. They don’t like or want the food being forced on them. Black markets are forming to fill the need. And food is being wasted.

Let’s face it, Hungry kids do not make good students. This law is a turd sandwich.

So who among the New Hampshire Delegation voted for this crappy central planning nightmare? How about all of them.

So, will the NH Democrat Party condemn their supporters vandalism and their calling others “FAGS”?

This is one of those posts that all bloggers have – start it, something else grabs the eyeballs, and it just sits. Unlike some of my others, though, there was a little voice saying – yeah this is important. Why? All during the campaign back in 2010, it was “Constitution Frank” Guinta; I remember that because I interviewed him often. He realized which way the political way the wind was blowing and decided to ride it. Problem was, we all believed what he said (and knew what Carol Shea-Porter would do if re-elected – and still do). The problem is that when you go to the mat for someone, which the ‘Grok did during the primary and the general, when you come across stuff like this, you end up doing more than merely wince and cringe (reformatted and emphasis mine):

I am willing to bet that almost every New Hampshire Democrat supports the national agenda on taxing corporations and “the rich.” To paraphrase Kyle Reese from the original Terminator movie, in regard to Democrats raising taxes… “That’s what they do. That’s all they do.”

The real problem is, of course, spending, which Democrats deny. “It’s not about spending,” they say, “we need the rich to pay ‘Their fair share®.'” But all you have to do to prove they are wrong (again) is to look at what would happen if Democrats actually got those taxes they say we have to have on corporations and the wealthy.

To be honest, I knew that Frank’s office was opening, but given that I was away the entire weekend, I just couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to let TMEW know: “Oh, btw, I’ll be in Manchester tonite”. There’s times when a man has to know his [wife’s] limits, but more realistically, it was that enthusiasm gap – I just could not pump myself up to overcome the inertia to just stay home. Adam has proven himself to me to be a fair reporter so I called him up and chatted for a little while and then he recorded a couple of sound bites. Yes, the one that went over air was indicative of my current outlook. A lot of TEA Party type folks got behind him in the last cycle – and so did GraniteGrok. Expectations were high when he took office – me, the other Groksters, and a lot of those Liberty and Freedom activists that worked their butts off to the point that Frank beat Carol Shea-Porter in her hometown.

We activists promised that even if he voted “wrong” according to the Dems and the Republican Leadership, we’d have his back. Promised.

There are a number of groups that the Left wing Granite State ‘Fare’ Tax Coalition highlights on it’s web site. It’s your typical collection of "non-non-partisan" interests like the State Employes Union of NH (That’s the local SEIU 1984). The AFSC-which is the NH Chapter of a global leftist movement supported by all the nicest left wing foundations. The League of Women Voters of course. And there is even a who’s-who of left wing, NH social justice churches and their political arms, all promoting socialist activism and statist policy from the pulpit down to on the ground left wing activism.

All of these groups warrant, and will receive, a proper vetting, but today I would like to focus on a special cog in the leftist machine of the so-called non-partisan GSFTC, one that happens to be very active in New Hampshire on its own; the NHCA. The NHCA is the New Hampshire Citizens Alliance. (You may remember their executive director, Sarah Chaisson Warner? She received some unwanted attention after some remarks she made back in March of 2010. See also Here from the NHTPC.) The New Hampshire citizens alliance is…(drum-roll please)

…a statewide nonprofit, nonpartisan organization devoted to social, economic, and political justice.

A Non-partisan organization devoted to social, economic, and political justice? Too bad that’s just not possible. There are no right wing groups seeking these ethereal ends. These are buzz-words, Orwellian constructs, created by statist agenda-driven socialists to mislead people. So the NHCA couldn’t be "non-partisan" if they tried. But you don’t have to take my word for it. Just look at who they associate with and what they support.

its mine! Nancy Pelosi’s mad hand puppet, the Socialist-progressive democrat Carol Seiu Porter, has just formally announced the obvious. No, not that she is a Pelosi marionette; she announced that she is going to run for congress in 2012. This is not surprising, not breaking, not even interesting, except to those who like easy blog material of which Shea porter is a redolent horn of plenty. Porter is blogging gold. Better than Biden, who is a total ass-hat but who at least has thoughts he can call his own, such as they are.

The announcement, we were talking about that right, is anti-climactic. It was inevitable given that Carol Che-Porter has not yet, to the best of my knowledge, called Congressman Guinta to congratulate him on his win 162 days ago.

That means, in my mind, (aside from being a sore loser of historical magnitude) that she has yet to mentally concede the seat she lost back in November. (D-Denial) (She is even now, likely casting meaningless votes with her party in some secret Pelosi shrine in the back of her bedroom closet.) But to win back her “birth-right” Kandidate Karol Kannot hide in her progressive bivouac and hope to attract more than the devoted leftists. She needs to engage the independents to get enough voters to actually win, and will have to face hard questions in abundance about her record and its consequences on the country.

So the Q and A with the people she called ‘tea-baggers’ may not go well. But her feeling of entitlement remains, the arrogance is not gone from that sour puss, and she never stopped thinking she was still the congressman from CD-1. So she is compelled to run–if for no other reason than that she can’t get the lifetime, taxpayer funded pension and benefits unless she gets back into office for one more term.

Another Wheel Off The Bus

Usually the wheels come off the bus before it goes into the ditch. But here we go. Another wheel falls off the Obama bus. (Must be one of the Dr. Seuss buses, given all the wheels this thing is losing). Obamacare, the Patient Unaffordable and Un-accessible (all we really) Care (about is government power) Act will require another 800,000 Americans to give up their jobs. Put another way, it will cost 800,000 jobs.

So when are Shaheen, Ex-Porter (That’s ex congresspersonista Carol Shea-Porter) and Paul ‘Hot Dog’ Hodes going to come out and clear up the record? They have all argued that the loss of jobs was some right wing fear mongering.

The same CBO the left swore was non-partisan when it claimed the bill would save money, then that it would cost money if we ended it, can’t suddenly be partisan can it?

Obama Stooges These are democrats. Of course they can. So should we wait for the "Big Pharma, and Big Health care" bought the congressional Budget Office narratives?

And how will Obama’s Bureau Of Laboring Statistics every hide another 800,000 lost jobs? Though they are doing a fine job with the millions they are hiding now–except from the people who are actually unemployed.

So many unanswered questions.
