The New Hampshire Citizens Alliance (NHCA) is a non-profit claiming to be non-partisan. It has to do that or it’s advocacy might be misconstrued as partisan. But it’s advocacy is partisan.
In 2010 the NHCA’s PAC, New Hampshire Citizens Alliance for Action, spent all it’s over $15,000.00 in PAC money to re-elect Carol Shea-Porter.
This is not just issue advocacy. This is money spent canvassing for the election of a democrat. So how is that non-partisan? How then, do they manage to continue to operate as a tax exempt non-profit?
I’m sure there are reasons, I just don’t happen to know what they are.
