Hodes’ Foreign Money

But since the democrats are actually getting more foreign money than Republicans already, (here) would it matter if Paul Hodes had taken money from PAC’s with foreign donors directly into his campaign? He’d be spending it right here in New Hampshire to, how did he phrase it? affect local elections.

Hodespocrisy –‘Chamber Of Commerce’ Edition

Uh....Paul Hodes gets an ‘A+’ for toeing the Pelosi/Obama Party line, and a least an ‘A’ for recycling the party talking points.  For example, Barack Obama has been wandering around claiming the Chamber of Commerce is using foreign money to affect local elections.  Paul Hodes has been wandering around New Hampshire saying the exact same thing.

Obama

“Just this week, we learned that one of the largest groups paying for these ads regularly takes in money from foreign corporations,” Mr. Obama said. “So groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections.”

Hodes-From Roll Call

“It could very well be that foreign money’s coming in to try to trample the voice of democracy,” Hodes said. “That’s a sad state of affairs.”

Hodes-again

"… there are reports that the Chamber of Commerce is using money from foreign companies to influence New Hampshire elections."

I asked Hodes Lie-deflector Mark Bergman to show us the reports.  I guess Mark isn’t reading my blog, or he simply has no proof, but I know why he has no proof.

Hey Hodes Campaign- Choke On This!

Since it’s so darn important, just how much money from entities who have donors with foreign interests has poured into US political campaigns in 2010? Here’s an appetizer of a hint.  I bet neither Paul Hodes nor his media puppet Mark Bergman bothered to look before Mister "independent voice" just read it off the DNC … Read more

Hey, Hodes Campaign! Riddle Me This…

The larger problem for Mr. Bergman is this; if in fact, he has evidence to prove his otherwise vague remarks, he might be subject to investigation for violating federal law himself by obstructing, concealing, or failing to promptly report legitimate violations of federal election law.

Shea-Porter has amended 27 Seperate FEC filings.

If FEC disclosure amendments are really that big a deal, then why are we not discussing the fact that Carol Shea-Porter has had to amend her FEC filings 27 times. That’s one filing amended for ever 1.6 months in office. Is she that sloppy? Maybe she took advice from Nancy Pelosi instead of reading the filing rules herself –we know she’ not very good at reading things.

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black

This from the "Pot calling the kettle black" files: Ray Buckley is grinding his little Facebook propaganda mill again in an effort to get the liberal-regressive’s to put down the latte’s and lose the sad little faces from the implosion of Obama’s partisan, moonbeam,  Che Guevara cotillion and get their little rumps in gear to save his chairmanship.

This weeks episode: Citizens United destroyed campaign finance law because the democrats are (according to Buckley) being outspent 8 to 1.  The real problem is that others can now compete with unions and the lefts monster cash apparatus and Ray is just whining about the sudden appearance of real equality.

All one needs to do is sell their soul to a billionaire or industry that will spend millions destroying their opponent. That way the candidate will have only one master instead of those peksy constituents and $100 donors. But my point isn’t to state the obvious it is to slam the progressives unwilling to help.

And Ray would know all about that which is what makes this just so…damn…funny. So I’m clear on the hypocrisy part, (and by the way, when Republicans line up to object to liberal billionaire ATM’s that’s just nonsense) but I do have one question for Ray.  What is a "peksy" constituent?

Lunch for Lynch

Mike Hoefer is skipping his Lunch for Lynch and he’s asking the folks at Boo Hoo Hampshire to do the same.  He figures, rather than spend $9.68 at Panera bread he’s donating that money to Lynch for Governor to help fight back against the attacks by NOM. Well Mike, I have a few thoughts. Panera … Read more

DSCC Ditching Hodes

I was hearing rumors that the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) was not going to dump any more money down the Hodes-hole.   Then I read a post by Fergus Cullen over at Red Hampshire in which he believes recent phone polling appears to be testing the waters as to whether or not Hodes has the necessary level of interest for continued support.  And I just received a text last night indicating that the DSCC appears to be ready to pull the plug.

Watching Hodes deny it will be worth the price of speculation.

Carol’s New Groove..(same as the old groove)

Comrade Carol Seiu-Porter has a new video out spotlighting how good she is. It’s quite a piece of work, let me tell you.  My favorite part is at the end when the voice over says, "and whether it’s popular or not, she always fights for what she believes in."

Talk about irony?

Health Care?  Cap and Trade?  The stimulus?  Cash for Clunkers?  Home Affordable? The trillion dollar budgets?  Lip service to pay-go?  Carol?  What have you fought for that the people of New Hampshire would consider popular?  I can’t think of a single thing.  And no, we can’t just count the lumps of un-aborted tissue running the New Hampshire Democrat party, and their fellow travelers, I mean the entirety of your district.

So while I agree that that is the one true statement in your ad, its a bit misleading.  It should probably say..Carol knows that everything she believes in is unpopular, but she votes for it anyway.

And yeah, we could spend eternity covering the ins and outs, like how Carol can’t really even be voting based on what she believes in becasue you have to read the bills to know if what you believe is really in the bill.  That dissolves the context further to the point where Carol is voting for what she has been told is in the bill (that she believes in.)  And since Carol  only voted with Nancy Pelosi and the Party leadership 98% of the time because she missed 2% of the votes, we can further define the relationship as follows:  Carol votes for what Nancy Pelosi tells her she believes in.

That’s not a congressman from New Hampshire, that’s Nancy Pelosi’s Federal representative to New Hampshire.  She might as well be appointed as elected.

The Ad is on the Jump

Following Mahoney’s Money Part II -That Dog Just Won’t Hunt.

Under the direction of the disclosure-challenged Pat Hynes Sean Mahoney has surrounded himself with a group  of advertising and political consultants who all share a common thread.  They were all at some point (or still are) part of American’s for Job Security (AJS) and are connected to Mahoney and his Potemkin campaign.

Stephen DeMaura–from Cross Target Poll fame, is the current head of AJS.  Pat Hynes, according to at least one source, is still listed with the Virginia Secretary of State as an AJS director but regardless has been a director with the group; Hynes is of course also involved with CrossTarget, and in the employ of Mahoney to the current tune of at least $32,000.00.  Dave Carney is a former top staffer at AJS and the current CEO of Norway Hill Associates.  Norway Hill has netted over $28,000.00 from the Mahoney campaign for consulting and printing so far.  Michael Dubke, former head of AJS, runs Crossroads Media which is apparently in the same suburban Washington Office Park as AJS; Crossroads has been paid over $569,000.00 by Mahoney for advertising and consulting–mostly Radio and television I would guess.  Dubke, interestingly enough, is valued as an attack ad guy, which explains a spin off from Crossroads–Target Point Consulting which appears to focus on micro-targeting and research, probably for negative campaign  strategies.  Target point’s customers are a well kept secret, so we can hypothesize that Crossroads funnels money to them for research it uses in its ad campaigns for it’s customers, of which Mahoney is a big one.  And oh, look–Mahoney went negative.

Keep following the money–it get’s better.

Following Mahoney’s Money Part I

The recent polling done by CrossTarget for Americans For Prosperity (AFP) has too many links to Mahoney to be taken seriously as an outside poll.   And while trying to research the poll and the people connected to it, I discovered an almost incestuous collaboration of professional political consultants, and insiders to the Mahoney for congress checkbook that all circle around Americans For Job Security.

CrossTarget, the polling organization, was created by Stephen DeMaura and Patrick Hynes, both connected political insiders.  DeMaura is no fan of Guinta, and Hynes works for Mahoney.   So why would AFP choose CrossTarget for a poll given these obvious questions of conflict?  I have no idea why, but it was a bad call by Lewandowski and it questions AFP’s neutrality on the race if there even is one.

As for Hynes and DeMaura, they have connections to a more complex relationship with current and former members of AJS (maybe there’s no such thing a a former member of AJS) that conveniently lead repeatedly back to Sean Mahoney’s campaign expense report.

Well Isn’t This ‘Rich’

As a follow up to this after doing some more digging here, I think that Cd-1 candidate Richard Ashooh must have taken out another mortgage on his home.  Interest rates are at historical lows!  I suspect this must be the case because he is reporting a loan to his campaign of $25,000.00 (here) but according … Read more

The Bill Binnie of NH CD-1?

Sean Mahoney is so politically popular that he has apparently had to loan himself some more money.  The Bill Binnie of NH-01 will have given his own campaign close to one million dollars.  Will that push him over the 90% self funded mark?  He was at 86% last time I did the math.  We’ll have … Read more

Another Amended Filing in CD-1

Is it absurd to think that a guy who earned almost $400,000.00 last year, and probably something similar in preceding years, would have no additional income to declare to the Federal election Commission.  No savings accounts, no IRA’s no investments of any kind?

How about a guy who was also a lobbyist at least somewhat familiar with the election laws about money in politics?

Well don’t act surprised because NH-01 candidate Rich Ashooh will have to amend his FEC filing.  It appears he failed to list all his "secret" bank accounts on his original filing.  In fact, the filing fails to list any accounts, no investments, funds, savings, nothing–just his salary income, his mortgage, and the boards and committees on which he sits.  Rich Ashooh has no savings or investments? Where’s the false outrage?

Fun With Jan And Carol

Democrats like to make up rules for Republicans which I then do my best to apply to democrats.  In this example we have a donor to Carol Shea Porter who has been up to some questionable behavior.  If Carol doe snot denounce it she is complicit in it.  So pay attention.

Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill)–remember Jan, she’s on that socialist party list–has apparently helped bail out a local Illinois bank outside her district.  What’s wrong with that?  Nothing unless you are one of the small banks in her district that she allowed to fail.  Nothing, unless you know that the bank in question appears to have donated to Senator Dick Durbin, Ms. Schakowsky, Obama and has connections to a distinguished list of Chicago insiders, many of whom are currently hanging with the man at 1600.  Even the Clinton’s and MoveOn.org have roots in SouthShore.  And nothing at all unless that bank just happens to be a bank Jan’s husband used to help him find a way out of his bank kiting scheme before he went to the big house.

Look For The Union Label

So far this year, $24.7 million in independent spending has been reported to the Federal Election Commission, campaign filings show. Unions have spent 9.7 million (or 39 percent of the total), compared with $6.4 million (26 percent) spent by individuals and 3.4 million spent by corporations.

Target (ing) Gaypocrisy

Target donated money to a pro business PAC, which donated money to a Minnesota Candidate that makes the Gay activists less than merry.  (Can’t exactly say less gay can I?).  And since the "x degrees of fiscal separation" rule is only relevant to anything to the right of Trotsky, the Gender Confusion Corps (pronounced "corpse") has taken it to Target with a vengeance.

(I hope they are not upset with me but I  spent close to $1000.00 dollars at Target this week but if it helps I had a coupon. )

Anyway, in their quest to draw attention to the complex nature of the gender paradox  they have managed to make collective fools out of their collectivist selves.  At the end of a video in which they answer once and for all the age old question of whether people really do just burst into coordinated song and dance in public places like they do in the Musicals, we are treated to large type with the words "Stop Trying To Buy Elections," (see it on the jump) to which I must respond, only if you stop first.

Hodespocrisy–The Menendez Chronicles

Being as concerned as they are about ethics and corruption (over at the offices of the New Hampshire Democrat Party) you’d think Paul ‘Jersey’ Hodes would have refused that $10,000.00 campaign contribution from Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ).  Menendez is a long time benefactor of corrupt SEC violator Goldman Sachs (see below) and being from Jersey’s most corrupt Hudson county Menendez has been linked to any number of ethical "misunderstandings" throughout his career.

What kind of misunderstandings you ask?
