The reliability of voting machines to accurately count votes has come under scrutiny. Especially since the fiasco of the Windham Incident that took place at the November 3, 2020 General Election. Those election results produced NH’s largest numerical discrepancy between election day vote totals and a subsequent hand recount.
Well now, this is rather interesting! I found, in my INBOX, an email from a Kenneth Clark purporting to be from the Criminal Investigation Dept of the Internal Revenue Service. Topic? Marilyn Todd.
Yesterday, voters in the tiny town of Greenland, New Hampshire, had an opportunity to vote for change. The ballot measure was to move from AccuVote machine counted elections to hand-counting ballots.
In NH, we are blessed with an Executive Council: 5 elected representatives who review and approve (along with the Governor) significant government expenditures and contracts. They are a line of defense against unethical and illegal spending.

We learned that it took us a full day from 9am to 7pm to get through 51 House bills recommended as Ought To Pass (OTP) by their respective committees. They were from Criminal Justice (5), Education (12), Election Law (10), Executive Departments and Administration (8), Health Human and Elderly Services (8), and Judiciary (8).
We learned that Wednesday was House Budget Day. The NH House spent the better part of Wednesday passing a budget that kept Republican campaign promises. We passed HB1 and HB2, the budget bill and trailer bill, which effectively utilized tax dollars, and cut back government spending while cutting taxes.
