Democrat Leadership?
Have you ever read an article and just cringed. Well, recently there was an article which began with the statement that: “If there’s one thing the government is good at, it’s fixing massive crises.”

The left creates disaster and misery everywhere that it goes unchecked, from urban plantations, and violent crime, to high taxes and government overreach. The poster child for these abuses is California, where the left is blinded by wildfires of failure, all their own making.
It has become an annual tradition. Dry season equals forest fires equals leftists blaming CO2 (and your reckless lifestyle) for burning acreage. It’s not true, but never more so than this year. At least, according to the National Interagency Fire Center.
California’s energy and environmental policy have collided. PG&E has to turn off the power when its windy to prevent forest fires (sometimes). Down in Texas, when the wind isn’t whipping (like in the song from Oklahoma) Green energy policy caused a 40,000% hike in electric rates.
Sen. Warren is taking Democratic efforts to combat climate change over the top. Lieawatha is releasing a plan to combat “environmental racism.” Now you are probably wondering what environmental racism is. The short answer is ignorance.
Fire! Yes, the subject of much discussion around the real and virtual watercooler. The media is in a full-court press. The Amazon is doomed! No, not the fires, well maybe, wait, it’s that Trump-like Conservative president of Brazil.
In another scary fake news piece about the “fragile Amazon,” The Guardian (certainly not of truth) goes all-in on the scaremongering we exposed yesterday. All so they can report that Brazil has refused millions in aid from the G7. Guess why?
If you hadn’t heard, if you want to sneak into America bring a child with you. Any child. So, singles have been scooping up kids and dragging them to the US border. Until recently that was the ticket to catch and release. But not anymore.
Just before Christmas President Trump issued an Executive Order (EO) to address forest management to limit wildfire risk. It’s a good start. It makes sense. Left-wing activists say it’s global warming. Trump’ Executive Order is a sop to big timber. They don’t like it. I can’t speak to the timber sops, but let’s play along with the former. … Read more
Mr. Obama was separating families for years. It wasn’t until Mr. Trump was elected that the left noticed. Mr. Obama had a sour record on Forest fires. He had actual budget changes under his watch that put millions of acres at risk, many of which burned. Mr. Obama got a pass from the media. So, … Read more
The politicization of the climate continues to get column inches at Granitegrok because it is not just one of the finest examples of Leftist hypocrisy in modern history but one where they are fully committed. Just search our pages for the proof of this contradiction in their own words. The summation of which is, weather … Read more
Monday the UK Independent published the following headline. “Global warming doubles size of forest fires in US West, study finds.” Global warming has caused the area affected by forest fires in the western United States to double over the last 30 years – and the problem will continue to get worse until the trees start to … Read more
This is useful and entertaining. It includes links to things that the authors have claimed are a result of Global Warming or will be caused by it. There is also a dead links list below, that includes things caused by Global warming but for which the link is no longer active–but someone made the claim in print … Read more
In 2013 National Geographic announced that the Statue of Liberty was doomed. Destined to be swallowed up by the sea, thanks to the cataclysmic, uncontrolled, chaotic climate calamity of global warming. Well, maybe. (Though probably not by 2018.)
According to Wikipedia Scientific American was started in 1845, and is the oldest, continuously published monthly magazine in the United States. Cult followers of Scientism love them some Scientific American. It’s Scientific. It’s American. It has also engaged in fraud. January 8, 2016 – Global Warming Helped Exacerbate Biggest Year Ever for U.S. Wildfires More than … Read more
This story from The Blaze is one where one guy, foreseeing what things could go wrong, prepared for a risk he judged rightly that came to be (emphasis mine, reformatted): As wildfires blaze throughout Washington state, one man simply sat in his living room safe and sound as flames reaching up to 20 feet surrounded … Read more
Want to know a secret? The word ‘Change’ in Climate Change means they can change the meaning every time nature proves them wrong…which is often. More snow, colder winters, growing ice-caps, cool rainy summers in the central plains, fewer wildfires, expensive liberal-owned beach-front property still above water, everything that contradicts all their modeling and scare-mongering … Read more
Some guy recently tried to burn out a black Democrat Congressman’s office. You missed that story? He’s a white guy who tried to firebomb a black mans office. Not just any black man. Congressman Emanuel Cleaver’s office. Can you guess why it’s not in the full 24/7 outrage rotation on MSNBC, CNN, and leading the … Read more
Living here in central NH, weather does go bump in the night. Bizzards, severe thunderstorm, nor’easters, hurricanes – thankfully we get those but with some advance warning as opposed those Californians that get the “shake & bake” at almost any time with little notice (e.g., earthquakes or wildfires). You keep food around, you keep a … Read more
Before I expose the fraud perpetrated by Democrat Lee Nyquist in the Union Leader this past week, where he gushed about how Jeanne Shaheen is this respected, put together, moderate Senator, I have a quick question. If George Bush can be blamed almost a decade later for the Obama Administration Bureaucracy engaging in unprecedented intrusions … Read more
