Today’s lesson comes to us in the midst of an epic tragedy as wildfires race across California claiming property and lives. We’ve covered wildfires and climate fraud before, including in California, where there is credence to the claim that the failures of liberal environmental management have a part to play.
Policy and priorities matter as well.
Back in 2012 while Colorado was being ravaged by forest fires we reported on the indifference of the Obama Administration which had cut the wildfire-tanker fleet and canceled contracts for new equipment. Available planes sat in California collecting dust while fires raged out of control. Keep that in your mind as the liberals and the media – who did not report on Obama’s indifference back in 2012 – blame Trump, Republicans, Energy Policy, or Climate Change.
These are the same aforementioned Climate nancy’s who fit the “means what we say when we say” (rule). Which brings me to this.
Back in the day, when the experts were becoming convinced we would all starve to death because ‘Global Cooling’ California was no stranger to raging wildfires that displaced thousands. They come with the territory. Land that is often left uncleared of dead wood that inevitably accelerates the burn and spread of these events.

US and Russian Scientists hypothesized that a shrinking ice cap at the northern pole would escalate the amount of moisture in the atmosphere. More open water more clouds more precipitation potential. The result would be more snow accumulation on land, the formation of ice, and eventually glaciers. In other words, open arctic water creates the conditions necessary for an ice age or something like it.
It is a common understanding among non-cultists that the shift in air masses required to produce that much open water for an extended period across the northern pole necessarily pushes that cold air southward.
The cold air doesn’t stop existing because you didn’t buy-in on the latest government tax scheme fronted by Leftist who (coincidentally) are always looking for new ways to take more of your money.
That increase in cold-air combined with the added moisture is what makes ice ages possible. And while the Arctic is not ice free and probably never will be (despite repeated promises from the “weather and climate mean what we say when we say it and nothing else we said matters” crowd) more open water at the poles increases the likelihood of a significant increase in cold and snow in places like Canada and North America and yes, New Hampshire.
We’ve talked at length (for several years) about all the other cyclical events that suggest a long-term cooling trend by 2020 obviating the need to pay politicians and their scientism lackeys a dime to fix what is not broken. We have interviewed actual scientists and experts on weather and climate. And they’ve been telling us that the things that matter for such predictions have been leaning toward a few decades of below normal cold, which leads me to this.
NASA predicts cold times ahead.

The plan is to insist that global warming is creating an ice age and the answer is to a) abandon the abundant affordable energy that caused it (so what if you freeze to death or go broke trying to stay warm) and b) give the government that hasn’t gotten a damn thing right on this topic for decades more money and power which they will use to ensure that in the future you won’t know how wrong they’ve been.
