Prager U – God vs. Atheism

Belief in God, according to atheists, is irrational, illogical, and dumb. Belief that the universe created itself is, they say, intelligent, rational, and based in science. This is simply false. Nothing can create itself. Everything has a cause–including the universe. That cause, argues Peter Kreeft, professor of philosophy at Boston College, is God, the “unmoved … Read more

Jeanne Shaheen – A Strong Independent Voice for NH? Not so Much…

It adds a whole new meaning to ‘We are the 99%’ when a multi-millionaire-one-percenter like Shaheen votes with the destructive Obama ruling class agenda 99% of the time after she said she’d be a strong independent voice for NH.  Heck, she even repeated the ruling class ObamaCare lies?  Independent?  From what, Reality? Citizens for a … Read more

“…a litany of Democrat sponsored bills…that never would have passed if it hadn’t been for me…”

Like Dodd-Frank.

This backs up what I wrote here (H/T: You know who you are).  BTW, the info that is coming our way are NOT from “Democrat trackers” or even folks that are connected with other US Senate (or otherwise) Republican campaigns.  You know, sometimes bloggers are looked up as “the enemies”.  The truth is, something has to get our dander up for us to write about something or someone – something that violates our sense of cultural or political right-and-wrong.  Or in the case of Scott Brown, not saying much at all – he and his staff (that would be Andy Leach) might just listen a bit to our free advice and that of Grok friend DaTechGuy, a Republican that has to live the agony of being a Conservative in MA but takes interest in NH politics (emphasis mine, reformatted):

…Last week Senator Brown took my advice appearing in Hollis NH at the home of Granite Grok’s Mike Rogers with his lovely wife Gail to meet with a group of voters and make the case for him as the next Senator GOP senator from NHMike regularly hosts candidates so people can meet and engage them and I’m often there to cover them. I missed this one but I commend Senator Brown for making the trip, but after reading the accounts of the event from Skip & Mike it seems that in giving said advice I left out an important point, something that is inherent to NH GOP politics that doesn’t come into play very often in Massachusetts.

In Massachusetts the GOP is so weak that

Inconsistency – hallmark of the Left

Can’t you all even get the narrative right?

The Left is trying to redefine the language again so that OTHERS must supply another’s needs (classic “according to their needs” mantra) – this translates into “I demand that you pay for me”.  Once again, the Progressives are all willing to minimize the Constitutional meaning and power and replace it with their ideological Dystopia.  Which is shone by the folks in the video – watch especially for the lady in the blue jacket who is against the Green’s First Amendment Rights but argues for her own First Amendment Right without recognizing her hypocrisy.

Again, this is about Obama trashing the First Amendment Right of the individuals that own and run a company. It is the Left “progressing”

So where did that “ash heap” philosophy end up?

Update: Ted Cruz is speaking.  I’ve put the video after the jump because it auto-plays and I can’t turn it off – but his is talking about Marxism and Leninism….

Methinks one Party won’t be too happy over this….

Well THAT must have been a shot to the Light Bringer’s self-esteem!

From the acclaim of hundreds of thousands in stadium settings to a lonely clap; I don’t think that I have EVER seen a US President give a speech or a joint presser only get a single person clapping.  Slowly.  And everyone else just wanting to get out of the area. I watched it several times … Read more

We’re used to the idea here in NH, so why not others?

NH Constitution: [Art.] 10. [Right of Revolution.] Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means … Read more

Joni Ernst – ‘Let’s Make Em’ Squeal’

Charles Cooke is probably right.  This ad does have the greatest opening line in the history of political ads.  And if it’s not the best opening, it is damn close. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=p9Y24MFOfFU H/T Ace of Spades

Prager U – What is Social Justice

In this week’s video, author and columnist Jonah Goldberg tells you how to stump your left-wing friends: Ask them to define the term “social justice.” That should be easy, right? After all, the term is everywhere: on websites and college campuses, in the mission statements of businesses and charities, and in United Nations reports. But … Read more

“…governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

The full line from the US Declaration of Independence is: “That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”  Meaning that the American philosophy that we allow ourselves (we give our consent) to be governed by our elected Representatives.  Which also means that there can be a time where that consent, if given in the past, can be withdrawn in the current period or some time in the future?  Are we starting to see a tipping point where that consent is starting to be withdrawn?  We have already heard from Connecticut and have commented on the situation there that it seems that the vast majority of gun owners have decided that they do not consent to the odious firearm statutes that have turned law abiding citizens into Class D felons simply for having purchase something that was legal in the past and are now illegal.  And that has declared them to be on the same moral level as sex offenders (for having to register with the State).

We heard that in NY that other gun owners are in non-compliance with the hastily passed SAFE Act that equals the regulations in Connecticut and those in NJ are starting to do the same:

So it IS Democrats that are taking Medicare away from Seniors!!!

For decades, I’ve been listening to the puke that the Democrats have put out that Republicans just hate Seniors and are just waiting to take Medicare away from them.  Yet, guess who really IS taking away Medicare from Seniors?  Yup, with their vote for Obamacare, they took $700 BILLION out of the Medicare program. 99 PERCENT

The NHGOP has a new video out on Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen called 99PERCENT NHGOP

Bill Maher: “why vote for Republican-lite when you can vote for a real Republican”

I just thought “My, the Democrats think the same way – just in reverse on this! – and this from the religion hating, Republican hating Bill Maher.  But what gets me is that he laid down THE marker question to his panel of Lefties:  Why won’t the Democrats just come out, be brace, and be against the Second Amendment? And then you see US Senator Keith Ellison (D-MN) start to panic and try to defend the standard “incrementalist” strategy – because he KNOWS that if Democrats really said what they wanted, they’d never hold office again.  And he basically admits it, too.  As the Youngest would say “Political Cowardness”.

Note: I just put it after the jump – it’s auto playing and real annoying if on the front page – and I don’t see any switches to turn it off.
