All Aboard

The NRSC is feeling pretty good about itself these days.  The political climate is shifting their way.  That makes it a good time to release a ‘momentum’ Ad.  If nothing else, it will irritate that rash every Democrat has on their….

Prager U – What Did Your Parents Most Want You to Be?

Prager University When parents boast about their children with other people, what do most say first? Is it how nice they are to strangers? Or how much volunteering they did last year? Usually not. More often, they talk about their good grades in school, or the prestigious college they went to, or the much sought … Read more

“Hitler’s Rant on Connecticut Gun Registration”

We’ve written on this before – the governed in Connecticut have begun to withdraw their consent from the governing over the draconian laws that basically made them felons overnight for simply keeping firearms that they may have had for decades with no problems.  They are upset that they are being made to feel and have … Read more

Prager U – Why Capitalism Works

Prager University Cultural depictions of capitalism, in America, are almost all negative. There’s the Monopoly guy with the top hat and cigar. There’s Gordon Gekko saying, “Greed is good.” And, most recently, there’s the hedonism of the “Wolf of Wall Street”. The message is clear: capitalism is selfish. Socialism, or something like it, is altruistic. … Read more

GrokTALK! March 8th, 2014 – the Videos!

GrokTALK!Steve, once again, has beat me in getting the audio up first (Groksters Steve, Mike, and I yak with NH State Rep. Pam Tucker, Candidate for the NH GOP Nomination for US Senate Karen Testerman, and former NH State Rep Kevin Avard.

Preshow – Pam comes in at 8:30 for her 9:30 slot – a bit early but just another chance to yak and get her laughing.  And then we get serious

Segment 1 – Rand Paul at CPAC – the importance of Liberty. Gov. Rick Perry’s red meat speech and he has shown Conservative principles work.  Progressive HAVE to use Personal Destruction to win & the Media buttresses them. The need for Steve’s Republican Repair Kit.  BradleyCare will transform New Hampshire.  Progressives hate Individuals, only see Oppression instead of the Possibility of Potential.  Government is Force; people are seeing it as “what can you give me”.  Freedom from Govt intrusion vs Freedom of necessity (or work).  Progressives are turning Government to be their own personal mugger.  CT gun owners no longer consenting to their govt – here in NH. Ex Post Facto? Bill of Attainder?

Belknap County Convention – last budget meeting

To say that the Belknap County Convention’s budget meetings have been contentious is like calling a hunger crazed tiger a kitty cat.  Yelling, sulking, obstruction, power struggles, Liberals hating the Conservatives who were given the power by the people, Govt employees demanding more from the taxpayers, lawsuits by the Commissioners against the NH State Reps that make up the NH Belknap County Delegation, the minority Democrat Reps suing the Majority Republicans – who SAYS politics can’t be entertaining?

Problem is, I was able to go to very few of the meetings including the final one that a few folks really wanted me to video.  Fortunately, ‘Grok friend Rosemary was there and graciously allowed me to “borrow” the video for posting.  First part here, the rest after the jump:

Prager U – The Bigger The Government The Smaller the Citizen

In every society throughout human history the following relationship has held true: as government grows, human freedom and happiness shrinks. Best selling author, Dennis Prager puts it this way: “The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.” This has been true in Europe for decades and is becoming ever more so in the United States. … Read more

Palate Cleanser – harmonies time!

I am a sucker for a good a cappella group and one of my favorite shows on network TV (“The Sing Off”).  Pentatonix won an early season (am hoping it will return) and have a great video out covering “Say Something” by Christine Agularia: (H/T: The Blaze)

Scott was right – you’re a racist if you think about Obama in a certain way

Scott was right:  FULL of facists!

I got bad news.  I agree with many on the left.  Our country is infested with vile racists.  They’re everywhere: in our media, in our government, in our schools, in our stores and they remain contaminating a major political party as they have historically done for well over a century.

Especially in the media.  Far be it for me to “help out” CNN as it is looking like its ratings are already below ground, but at least this from Bob Lemon speaks what the rest of the lapdog media thinks:

“As a journalist, you weigh how much you should criticize the president because he’s black.”

So much for being “color blind” – wasn’t that supposed to be the end game of Civil Rights movement (contact of one’s character and all?)?

NH Senate Repubs talking / acting like Democrats – and Committees are rebelling, Medicaid Expansion, Obama’s abject surrender to Putin & world events, Sarah Palin & Mitt have last laugh at Obama’s expense, NH State Senate approves of Planned Parenthood NH “kiddie porn”.  Shout out to commenter, Chris P Bacon.

Segment 3 – Jenn Coffey on NH Medicaid Expansion by Republicans. downside effects by Obamacare. Feds can’t even live up to Special Ed $$ promise.  Most NH Taxpayers are Fed Taxpayers – stupid attempt at Democrat linguistic sleight of hand by Repubs.  Feds already trying to renege on 100% M.E. payments (by Paul Ryan) to States.  NH GOP Platform?  Rs advancing Ds legislative agenda – why?  Ds attacking Obamacare victims. Rs – political cowards in NH State Senate.

Segment 4 – NH State Rep Dan Itse comes on to talk about his new book (coming out soon): “States have Power too!”

So, why do Democrats want the AFP ad that is Zandra Rice-Hawkin’s fave silenced??

Democrats hate alternative ideas – and time after time we have seen their efforts to silence their opponents.  Steve briefly addressed her trite concern here and in the comment section, a commenter named “eastergrass” put up a paltry demonstration of Progressive parley in trying to turn the tables on us.  That’s the problem with Progressives; oft, they expect to lead people down illogical ratholes and rather resent it when others won’t let go of the main argument.

So, Zandra, here’s some more for you to luv: Megyn Kelly on Fox has a segment on this very topic and pretty much takes the arguments of one Democrat Rep Gary Peters to the woodshed…

GrokTV: 223 Day of Resistance rally – NH State Reps Laura Jones and JR Hoell

A number of NH State Reps spoke at the rally.  Each has the dedication to the principle that people should be held above the Government (as opposed to people like this one that believe Government should control the people), that Individual Rights should trump the collective, and that our natural Rights pre-date Government, and that … Read more

GrokTV: 223 Day of Resistance rally – NH State Rep. Al Baldasaro, Jack Kimball, and the New Hampshire Family Photo

You ALWAYS get the straight talk from Al!  A former long term Marine, he has that straight ahead point of view that demands “no surrender” – and demands it of everyone around him.  And one of those points of views is the Right to bear and keep arms – and you can tell that “forceful” is the only gear he’s got! BTW, that was me that asked him “How much??” – pay attention as you watch – and I’m still waiting for an answer, Al!

Jack Kimball also was in attendance and came on at the end of the program to let people know about Operation American Spring:

Belknap County Convention Budget Meeting

I haven’t been going very often, even as I should be, but can’t do everything.  As it was, I was a few minutes late to this meeting last night but did catch the ending of NH State Rep Dennis Fields ranting about the last meeting, his voting, the blizzard, his phone(s) – just a hot mess.  And from what I hear, this was one of his better behaved nites (and yes, I have recorded him before at such a meeting – a hotter mess).  All that said, it was rather a benign nite all around (except for County Administrator Debbie Shackett’s rather snippy said “Your welcome”‘s, especially back to Chair Collette Worseman – you know the phrasing and tonation: seeming very polite words but promising knives).

It is very obvious who the folks are that are trying to protect the taxpayers’ wallets – and who are not.  It is also rather easy to tell, having watched this go-round before, who puts Government first.

Part 1:
