Chuck Morse and the NH Senate Republican Majority PAC has now spent nearly $28,000.00 dollars to protect incumbent progressive Republican State Senators Nancy Stiles and David Boutin in a GOP primary.
I bet that is more than all the grassroots Republicans State Senate candidates have spent so far, combined. And what for? Two stale cones stacked with tasteless, half-melted, left-leaning, establishment vanilla. But hey! They are serving it under that Republican Big Tent we hear so much about.

Let me see…what do I want to do?
How about endorsing some candidates in the upcoming Republican Primary? Yea, that’s a sure fire way to get your taxpayer activist keister in a sling.
You have to understand that in New Hampshire every candidate from the far-far left to the far-far right is a “Tax Fighter”. It’s all over their signs and slippery mailers.
And how often am I disappointed in my elected official when push comes to raise taxes shove? Pretty often is the answer.
So we have the acquired from Governor Mel Thompson – tweaked through Grover Norquist, CNHT Pledge.
It is not a rocket science or math whiz pledge – simply no income or sales tax – period.
I never did take the Lambert campaign to task for their TV ad attacking Marilinda Garcia. The ad is awful. Worse than the mailer. And while I have no problem with attack ads that base their points of facts, this ad bases it on things that the Lawyer Gary Lambert, should know would never hold up in court. But that is not why I am writing about the Lambert campaign today. I have a different bone to pick.
It has come to my attention that Colonel Lambert might be letting people assume he was a combat vet.

Last night someone posted a document so damning about Jim Foley (running for NH Senate in District 19) that the Windham Republican Town Committee almost instantaneously removed it. Some on the Windham Committee support Jim Foley. It’s unfortunate they don’t want voters getting the truth. Luckily the document is still available
here [and here: FOLEY ]. Apparently Jim Foley has a lengthy record of crime including forgery, fraud and theft. The man was less than honorably discharged from the Marines but he was also disbarred from practicing law by the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
The very first item in the document shows that Foley was investigated by the FBI for devising a scheme to defraud and to obtain money, funds, credits, assents and security that were under the control of the MCB Federal Credit Union. The document gives some details from the testimony of an FBI agent.
Apparently Foley was actually a lawyer as well (funny that’s not in his bio anywhere) and was taken to task about his professional conduct in New Hampshire for stealing from a Legal Clinic he was working for. Foley was accused (and admitted) lying about the total amount of money each client gave him; taking the extra money for himself and giving the Legal Clinic less than 100% of what was truly earned.

Scott Brown is on the record supporting out-of-state voters stuffing New Hampshire ballot boxes and robbing you of your local voice. This has been the NH Democrat strategy for years, one we’ve been trying to expose at great length on these pages. (Just search ‘vote fraud’ for 10 pages of articles on the Grok.)
Brown told Boston’s own Howie Carr that out-of-state supporters should just “come on over” and vote for him anyway.
Brown made the comment last week during a radio interview on Carr’s WRKO 680 show, when a person with a Connecticut area code phone number asked why people should vote for Brown.
The campaign has come out and said he was joking.
He was not. And you know, as well as I, that all the establishment Republican out-of-state campaign staffers will be pulling for Brown in the primary, just as if they were the Democrat staffers pulling for Shaheen come the general.
Before you deny it (again), understand this. We can, and will, find out if you lied and we will report it when we do.

Bad Idea to accuse NHFC of lying on the air. The data is available regarding your record while in the NH State Senate. This has been provided to all that have asked about wanting references regarding our statements.
5 of the 6 good gun bills died in the Senate that year. The journals prove what happened.
Constitutional Carry, Campus Carry, elimination of local licensing for dealers, etc. all died at the feet of the senators in the Senate in 2012.
The Executive Council in NH is often the red-headed step child that is ignored by the rest of the political world. Outside of NH, people interested in the First the Nation Primary politics go “Executive Huh?” – and even most NH residents have little clue as to what it does and why it is important. And make no mistake – it is important as it is supposed to be the last “brake” on the NH Governor’s decisions when it comes to official appointments and signing of contracts. However, like most, it is subject to mere politics, like when this Democrat dominated EC decided to pass a 300 plus page contract for Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion only gave the Republican Councilors 15 minutes to read all that – and then just passed it into effect. This will have a real effect on the taxpayers of NH in the coming months and years.
We, the writers and authors at GraniteGrok are making only two Endorsements for Executive Council at this time…
Consistency breeds Trust yields Votes
There are a number of contested races in the NH State Senate primary races this cycle and we have been asked to give our guidance based on our Principles. The following folks fall into the GraniteGrok mold of what we expect to see from NH GOP candidates – adherence to Conservative & Liberty Principles and a fealty to the NH GOP Platform and the NH Constitution regardless of the situation or this issue (even in the face of opposition, especially from their own Party).
We have known these folks over a long periods of time – they have shown that they have walked the talk and thus, proving their Consistency that has earned our Trust. Our bar for endorsement was quite high – while Ronaldus Magnus oft spoke of the 80%, we can and want better.
We believe we have to – times are much dire and the Left is much, much further left to almost being to the point of being indistinguishable from those we opposed in the Cold War and in the multitude of proxy wars fought during that time. We need solid counterweights to balance not only the Democrats in the General Election but, in some cases, prevent those that would promote and advance the Democrat Agenda (as with incumbent NH State Senator David Boutin who voted for Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion, for one MAJOR item).
Thus we humbly ask you all, in these different districts, to vote for these candidates for NH State Senate...
Yes, a “Like” as in a like on a Facebook page. No, not a full blown unequivocal endorsement as we have done previously this cycle but akin to what we have said in the past (“Well, we have endorsed ABC but if that person is not your cup of tea, then we would ask you to consider XYZ”). We are making such a recommendation in this race – Regina Birdsell. We do appreciate a number of her stances and have liked a number of her votes. We certainly have also appreciated some of her votes. Thus, our stance is that if you are unsure who to vote for, be it known that the authors and writers of GraniteGrok like Regina over the other candidates in this race.

And one of them is Jim Foley, who has just earned the very first Negative Endorsement (aka “run screaming away from his name on the ballot!”) Why?
Pete is a good friend of the ‘Grok and any time we are at an event and he shows up, he knows we have a seat ready for him. That said, we can still disagree with him from time to time, and when he decided to take on my post here, it certainly is worthy of a response. He disagrees with our stance on no longer giving our vote away to the GOP’s “least worst” choice on a ballot:
Yup, scapegoating their voters – good job on gaining and influencing “friends”. You didn’t give those 31 million Republicans a good enough reason TO vote – and you are blaming them? It’s like going to the store – why buy an inferior product when one was looking for excellence? Humphreys sounds like the Party is entitled to my vote simply because there is an R associated with my name.
Once again, the GOP and NH GOP have got it absolutely backwards – I don’t HAVE to “buy your product” if it does not meet my needs nor my expectation of excellence. In fact, you are asking me to be contrary to myself just so that you feel good.
In effect, we are no longer satisfied with an NH GOP that fails to seek and implement Excellence; too often, they are willing to accept a warm body to fill a gap and that is especially true if they can be self-funding. They have no problem in violating “Winning is merely a precursor; it is what you do afterwards that is important”. Unfortunately, a lot of “winners” turn out to be losers when it comes to actually implementing, full bore, the Republican / Conservative agenda (most notably in the 2010 season when we handed the NH GOP veto-proof majorities and in a number of really important issues for the base, threw up air balls. Excellence includes winning – but is so much more. But Pete responds:
Skip is absolutely right, the New Hampshire GOP has not earned the respect of conservatives like him so they have a lot of nerve after kicking them in the balls to ask him for their support post primary for candidates that don’t appeal to their palate in the least….
….so I imagine it’s going to be a bit of a shock to the people who have read up to this point that that’s exactly what I’m going to urge Skip and my fellow conservatives in NH & elsewhere to do. I’m urging them to support the GOP nominees in the state and federal elections whoever they are. Why? Why? Because while Skip’s point is strong it has a fatal flaw:
Nothing says fawning progressive media like the old adage about Fascism making the trains run on time.
Back then Fascism wasn’t the dirty word it is today. Progressives and Liberals publicly embraced it, supported it, pined for it, and insisted it would replace the Constitutional Republic. It was the Change they were looking for. Well we appear to have a Twenty-First century ‘Islamic State’ equivalent.
The group famous for its beheadings, crucifixions and mass executions provides electricity and water, pays salaries, controls traffic, and runs nearly everything from bakeries and banks to schools, courts and mosques.
While its merciless battlefield tactics and its imposition of its austere vision of Islamic law have won the group headlines, residents say much of its power lies in its efficient and often deeply pragmatic ability to govern.
This is “life under a Caliphate” my friends, “almost no institution or public service outside of its control.”
