Chosen Lies Gun-Grabbing Charlatans

“A charlatan makes obscure what is clear; a thinker makes clear what is obscure.” — Hugh Kingsmill

Gun grabbers Mao, Stalin, RogersCharlatans who advocate for Gun Control have inoculated themselves against the truth. The lies persist. The confusion abounds that perpetuates the lie. Anti-gun liberal charlatans willingly buy into the false narratives. They embrace the ignorance like an addict embraces heroin. The celebrity charlatans who make violent movies while embracing the gun control narrative.

Charlatans always defend their positions telling America, “We do not want to take away your guns.” Don’t believe the charlatan lie. Diane Feinstein has talked about rounding up guns; Andrew Cuomo has talked about gun confiscation; Michael Bloomberg funds anti-second amendment initiatives with his multiple efforts.

Observations of a Trump Rally in New Hampshire

trumpsmiling

Last night Donald Trump held a rally at Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth. The rally was held in the gymnasium with ticket check and a full Secret Service search to get in the door. The press area took up almost half of the gym but the rest of the area filled up with people jam-packed in like sardines.

There were people from all ages and walks of life in attendance. Some were hard core Trump supporters; some were there because they attend Great Bay; others were undecideds in the election and some were simply “gawkers,” there to see the celebrity from Apprentice.

Cruz is Biggest Threat to the Washington Establishment

Big government gobbles increasing amounts of people’s money, freedoms, and opportunities which politicians use to enhance their power and wealth and to provide privileges to themselves (e.g., Obamacare exemption) and favored special interests (e.g., subsidies, regulations, tax loopholes).

Our nation’s founders knew that the bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.  The Constitution they created, and approved by the people’s state representatives, authorized a small Federal government with strictly limited powers for the purpose of protecting people’s rights, property, and opportunities.

The benefit of this small, limited government was demonstrated during the first half of our nation’s existence.  We had a real citizen government; Congressmen typically served less than two terms.  During that short period of tremendous growth and change, the American people created the largest, freest, and wealthiest middle class in the world.

In the early 20th Century politicians decided to ignore the Constitution so they could use government to “do good” (especially for themselves).

Advantage: Lewandowski

IAmNotTheSecondComingOfRyanWilliamsThis was a rather amusing mano-y-mano smack talk: Ryan Williams vs Corey Lewandowski.  The former, a Sununu/Romney/NH GOPer staffer / spokesperson and current Jeb! spox, the latter a former Senator Bob Smith staff member and successful AFP Exec director and current national Campaign Manager for Trump.  Establishment vs Insurgent.  Who do you think got the upper hand (hint: results matter)?  Condensed from Politico:

Williams: “He does not have a strong organization in New Hampshire. It’s kind of a ragtag bunch of staffers that didn’t catch on with any of the mainstream campaigns.”

Get that: mainstream.  Typical effete elitism

Lewandowski: “Ryan Williams is a

Democrat NH State Rep Cynthia Chase is going to be some FURIOUS: Free State Project triggers “MOVE!”

Progressive NH State Rep Cynthia Chase (D): (concerning the Free State Project having chosen NH as their destination state, even as Chase did the same as a R.I. transplant): “What we can do is make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave. One way is to pass measures that will restrict freedoms that they think they will find here.

Sucks to be that micro-totalitarian, huh!  So willing to strip we who are already here of our Freedom (who aren’t even FSPers) to keep those that love Liberty from coming.  Typical Progressive – absolutely willing to PUNISH the innocent for the “sins” of the targeted folks they hate.  But the good news is here:

Free State Project Officially Announces 20,000 Signers: 100% Reached

The 3rd of February will now forever be known in liberty circles as “Porcupine Day”–the day after Groundhog Day–and the day the Free State Project officially announced the move has been triggered. Join us in the Free State!

Clinton: ‘I Have a Hard Time Imagining the Kind of National Emergency’ That Would Trigger Draft

“I have a hard time imagining the kind of national emergency that would require the use of the Selective Service System,” Hillary Clinton told a Democrat town hall hosted by CNN Wednesday night.  She was asked for her thoughts on requiring women to sign up with Selective Service at age 18, just as all American men must do.

Leaders may want to hope for the best but have to prepare for the worst in fulfilling the oath to defend us from all enemies, domestic and foreign.  So that does include preparing for war.  For Hillary Clinton to just throw our history under the bus (e.g., Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War II) in which the entire nation was put onto a war footing, I am just astonished.  Are we to expect that her time in office (God forbid that it would happen) is yet another Hillary entitlement of Bill “War on Women” Clinton’s time of peace?

Part 1: So, NH Republican Leadership, the Medicaid Expansion “fix” was in from the get-go, huh?

“Rep. LaChance’s bill is the train that’s going to leave the station,” Bradley said.

But you were the Conductor of this bait and switch.  So pious in the beginning and now the self-appointed Republican Savior for the Democrat Agenda.  I rue the day I helped you run against “Bathroom Bud” in that special election; you lied to me in presenting yourself as someone you aren’t.  So, how is it that you are different from the Democrats?  Oh, it’s just a little smaller and you can run it a bit better? Or the REAL reason:

Many on both sides of the aisle know continuing Medicaid expansion is critical to not only the fight to stem the tide of rampant opioid addiction washing over New Hampshire but also to political control of the Legislature.

Throwing 45,000 working poor off medical insurance has a high political price and the Republican legislative leadership knows that.

Right.  Adopt the Democrat argument that you first had to do this because the Dems’ version would have been much worse, and now use the Dems’ argument of “OH! HOW could we take away this [free] thing from so many people” with the sub-audible reason never stated:

Notice the ‘sinking ship’ on the Seal…

After reporting on Kasich’s shoving of Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion onto Ohio without the legislature’s vote, it has been discovered that his lies are even deeper than that.

In all honesty, the man seems to have contempt for anyone who disagrees with him.

by Ralph Benko – Which Presidential Aspirant(s) Would Make America (And You!) Prosper?

Am Principles Project

Guest Post

By Ralph Benko – Senior Economic Advisor at the American Principles Project

As I recently wrote in my Forbes.com column, “Presidential elections are about, above all, just two things: our security and our prosperity.” The GOP candidates have been emphatic about our national security, about which more in a bit.

All of them strangely have been pretty quiet about our prosperity. Getting the economy moving again deserves, now, to be the top issue. Ted Cruz has offered the most Reaganesque plan for getting us robust growth. Cruz laid out a solid, credible, prosperity plan. He presented his Flat Tax and, most important, staked out a credible recipe for excellent monetary policy: the gold standard.

Who does the Republican Establishment Congratulate?

Today’s mailing from the National Republican Senatorial Campaign (NRSC) asked me to join them in sending congratulations for a Victory in the Iowa Caucus.

Were they congratulating the winner, Senator Ted Cruz, who got more votes than any Republican ever in an Iowa Republican caucus and exceeded the polling average expectations by 3.8%?  No!

Were they congratulating Senator Marco Rubio for this third place showing that exceeded expectations by 6.2%?  No.

Were they congratulating Senator Rand Paul for his campaign and showing?  No.
