Local Democrat Refers to Republicans in Neighboring Town as the Taliban

Taliban-execute-another-leader
I’m no expert but this doesn’t look like Moultonborough New Hampshire…

The party of civility strikes again, and while this may not be as crass as expressing opportunistic glee at the death of a Republican, it fits the pattern of ingrained hostility that truly defines them as a party.

Tuftonboro selectman Chip Albee, a registered Democrat, referred to the “Moultonborough Taliban” when speaking about Republicans in neighboring Moultonborough.

Max Ledoux, writing at Tuftonboro.net has more, but what more do you need?

House Republicans Responsible for Advancing a NH Income Tax Again!

HB 628 Its an income tax - butler serving betterHB 628, which has a tax on income built into it, passed yet another hurdle today when 28 Republicans voted in favor of taxing your income. No need to get into the issues with the bill again for the moment, but if you are new to this debate you can find them here.

Our purpose is to make you aware that (1) no Democrats voted against adding an income tax in New Hampshire, and (2) it could not have passed without  Republican votes. Meaning, the threat of an income tax would have failed if they’d voted against it.

Here’s the list culled from the most recent Roll Call on this legislation.

FBI Informant Fingers Obama and Clinton on Russian Collusion

The only people surprised by this are, who again? The FBI’s informant in the Uranium One scandal involving the Obama administration gave written testimony to three congressional committees this week in which he accused the Obama administration of making decisions that directly benefited the Russian government and their goals of gaining geopolitical advantages over the … Read more

And this guy wants to be an elected Legislator? Democrat Dick Devens shows his ignorance on the Electoral College

2016-us-election-without-electoral-collegeSo, because Dick Devens hasn’t understood, can’t understand, and seemingly never will, he wants to change a vital part of our Representative Republic to take away yet another Check and Balance that was DESIGNED to have checks and balances.  So because he doesn’t understand something, he wants it simplified; even if he doesn’t understand the severe repercussions of doing so.   From the Laconia Daily Sun (reformatted, emphasis mine):

For years I have read and listened to explanations of the Electoral College. They don’t make sense to me. Googling it is mind-boggling. The Electoral College didn’t make sense to me when I learned about it in high school, in the ’50s. The person who gets the most votes should win.

When you don’t know your history as you work in the present…

Watermelon EnvironmentalismSHOTRupert Darwall on the Alarming Roots of Environmentalism.

If you look at what the Nazis were doing in the 1930s, in their environmental policies, virtually every theme you see in the modern environmental movement, the Nazis were doing. It happens to be historical fact that the Nazis were the first political party in the world to have a wind power program. It also happens to be a fact that they were against meat eating, and they considered…it…terribly wasteful that so much grain went to feed livestock rather than to make bread. It’s also the case that they had the equivalent of fuel economy rules because they had the most expensive gasoline in Europe and so they basically had very few people driving cars…I think actually the most extraordinary thing that I came across was this quote from Adolf Hitler where he told an aide once, “I’m not interested in politics. I’m interested in changing people’s lifestyles.” Well, that could be…That’s extraordinarily contemporary. That is what the modern environmental movement is all about. It’s about changing people’s lifestyles.

Maybe I Have Been Giving Hillary Clinton Too Much Credit

Bill-Clinton-Hillary-Clinton-Getty-Images
You cashed the checks, right?

The Clintons are low-life, tag team crooks from a small state, and not very bright at that. But they are incredibly sneaky and ruthless – in a determined, diabolical way that has served them well. They survive only because of the gutless opponents they have come up against – Republicans.

When the person no one can remember hiring to be involved in Whitehouse security, the overfed campaign thug, Craig Livingstone, got his chubby hands on 900 FBI personnel files on behalf of Hillary, I assumed he used some sneaky security clearance to do the deed.

Maybe not.

Fake News, Junk News, NO News

New CNHT bannerA funny thing happened on the way to the junkyard story in New Boston – the story disappeared from WMUR.

Set the “Way-Back Machine” for the second week in January when CNHT started helping John and Mona Winslow, owners of Duke’s Garage in that town. I went to meet them and was sitting in the kitchen going through court records the lawyer who abandoned them left behind when I was informed WMUR had just shown up with a cameraman.

If you know me and CNHT you know we stay away from the established media because…they never help.

Who is Behind This “Anonymous” Flyer in Opposition to SB193?

Illegal SB 193 Flyer -2

By Jim Kofalt

New Hampshire law states that “political advertising” must be signed. In other words, if you are distributing materials that advocate for the success or defeat of a candidate or a particular measure, you need to state clearly and legibly who paid for it.

In early January, an unsigned flyer showed up in some mailboxes around our district making the specious claim that New Hampshire’s current school choice bill (SB193) “drains $3600.00 per pupil from the State education budget.”

Ironically, the headline on the flyer was “Say NO to Property Tax Increase.”

Pop-Corn and Isikoff

fusion-gps-paymentsThe unfolding by the minute attempted overthrow of a sitting president by the American news media and Democrats has been shy, so far, of the inevitable financial paper trail. We are linking people and emails right now.

But I did notice some interesting blacked out fields in a Fusion GPS expense statement a while back. Several payments were implied to have been made to “journalists.” These were redacted.

And miserable is the operative word. As many of you know, we’ve been having a number of trolls coming in lately.  Now, I have no problem with those that disagree with me or other Groksters but it is clear that’s not why they are here. For years, I’ve had one rule for both authors and commenters:

Rule #1 – Adult themes, kid friendly.  Don’t post something

In Its Rush To Please Ruling Class Progressives, Facebook Sort of, Kind of, Screws Itself

zuckerberg, FacebookRemember when Facebook was super-giddy-helpful with announcing that the Russians were using Facebook Ads to influence the 2016 Elections? Hey, progressives look at us pimping the narrative du jour!

Well, someone in Seattle realized Facebook was collecting cash (probably a lot of cash) for political ads and failing to properly report who was buying those ads as required by law.

Hi Skip and Op-Ed,

I hope all is well. I am a Windham, NH resident and I clicked on an article shared on social media bearing the Windham School District sign from 2/1, written by Op-Ed. I realize now this is not a WSD-endorsed article, but an article on your independent PoliGrok LLC site.

Your site shows signs of affiliate marketing. The Amazon links have a tag for “granitecom-20” which typically indicates the site will achieve a profit when folks use your links to purchase on Amazon.

A profit, she says.  That there’s right funny, I don’t care who you are.  Really, a profit?  Hahahaha!  No, that’s getting paid for getting eyeballs.

Speaking of Liberal Trolls, Here’s One From Facebook Who is Happy Sam Cataldo is Dead

Left wing hate goes unreportedThe 603 Alliance Facebook page has a troll. Her name is Nanci Fletcher. According to her Facebook profile she lives in New Boston and most days she’s apt to hurl a bit of left-wing pablum our way. It is so devoid of substance it is not worth the trouble but yesterday she crossed a line so it’s time to give the troll credit where it is due.

Under a link to a story about the tragic death of former State Senator Sam Cataldo, Nanci Fletcher of New Boston wrote, “another seat for the Dems.”
