On Saturday night an elderly resident of a NH long-term care facility fell down and couldn’t get herself back up. It’s actually an independent living facility, but “unfortunately” the Governor’s decrees don’t make that distinction.
A Trolling We Shall Go, a Trolling We Shall Go! High Ho the Dairo, a Trolling We Shall Go – “Granite Crock”
Steve was alerted to yet another attempt to try to “takedown” GraniteGrok. I think, over the years, there have been four or five attempts. The problem is, most of these “we’re better than you are” have no idea how hard and how much discipline it takes to actually be successful and build up any kind of readership that sticks around.
Who Gets Money From Your Online Use?

What Was Hunter Biden Doing in China?
What Was Hunter Biden Doing in China? Heck, I don’t know the answer to the question. Given he is under investigation for his actions perhaps we will know someday. Hunter is Joe Biden’s son. Joe took Hunter to China on the plane with him.
COVID19 Could Be To Blame for an Additional 440 Deaths in NH?
The Concord Monitor has been keeping track. Of What? Deaths. Not just from COVID19 (people who died with or from, not that NH distinguishes) but extra or excess deaths. Mortality above the five-year average for the state, according to them. They found 440 of them, but wait until you see how they describe these.
Citizenship is no Longer Required for Voting
The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) gave its concurrence that citizenship is no longer required for voting. Monday SCOTUS declined to hear a case (No. 20-109 Schwab v. Fish) on a Kansas voting law. The law requires residents to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote. This was despite 18 red states … Read more
Quick Thought: So, WMUR, was it my elbows in your ribs or the vaccine deflowering your Panic-Porn every news show?
I’ve been poking a not so veiled hint at the WMUR news readers that they need to provide a better context when they read off their unitary numbers of the snapshot of the WuFlu in NH. I know that it has either terrified a lot of people (re: “It’s the reincarnation of the Black Plague; … Read more

Why Is There a Difference Between Our Perceptions and Reality?
Why is there a difference between our perceptions and reality? We have been doing virus crap all year. Media handling is the major factor in creating a Edit Post ‹ Granite Grok — WordPress different from the Covid reality. So, perhaps we should examine how the media functions and how we consume news. Think about … Read more
Antrim County Michigan Forensics Election Report is Not a “Smoking Gun”… It’s a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!
Antrim County Michigan had massive fraud like many other places in each of the swing states. The difference with Antrim County is that a judge allowed an independent forensic audit team to go in and audit the voting machines. What they found is explosive.
Letter to the Laconia Daily Sun – Do You Do Actual Journalism?
Wow. The Sun is really hitting them out of the park. Or not. The piece on food insecurity (12/1) relates the increased use of food pantries and the influx of groceries to try to meet those needs. It neglects that this is due to the loss of jobs related to the Wuhan flu from the government-ordered shutdowns.
UN Report: US Cutting CO2 Emissions Without Burdensome Paris Climate Voodoo
With exceptions for the COIVID lockdown, the US has had a booming economy for several years. Even now, it outranks other western nations. We’re also a leader in fossil fuel production, GDP, and (drumroll) reducing Green House Gas Emissions. This, according to the UN, of all things.
The Supreme Court May Have Fatally Underplayed Its Hand
The Supreme Court has one primary job, which is to preserve the illusion that it can do whatever it wants. Everything else that it wants to do relies on the persistence of that illusion. An important part of preserving that illusion is avoiding the appearance of being political. That’s why Obamacare wasn’t struck down — … Read more

Donald Trump’s Impossible Dreams
The blind hatred that consumes President Trump’s enemies is reflected in their poisonous rhetoric, which long ago exceeded inflammatory. It’s become utterly insane. They’ve labeled the president a white supremacist, a racist, a fascist, a tyrant, and even a traitor.
NHGOP Says to Vote For State Committee Members via Virtual Meetings – But That Violates the ByLaws
The NHGOP has notified several county committees that they need to vote for State Committee members via zoom meetings. No in-person voting (presumably) because the high inquisitors of covidism will come calling in the press. Okay, Karen, but that violates the Party Bylaws.
“All entities that are not explicitly right-wing will become left-wing over time”
I used to do a lot of hiking, and my hiking buddy liked to pick up the occasional stone and toss it back up the mountain. He was only half-serious when he implied that he was counteracting the natural forces of regression or decline. Entropy, even. Someone should have done that with Fox News or, better yet, Republicans.
Deprivations of Those With Less – And Guess Who Doesn’t Care?
Thoughts about the first snowstorm and the deprivation that the NH House Democrats believe they suffered: As winter fell over the region this past weekend heat was being generated by the outrage mob; for a Delegation meeting would not be delivered to their comfy homes.
