Mutual of Omaha Drops Indian Chief Logo Even Though No One Demanded It (No One Even Asked)

Intimidated by the Marxist’s zeal to purge people of color from the public eye Mutual of Omaha Insurance has opted – without any promoting – to drop its iconic Indian Chief logo. No one complained. There were no threats of protest. They just did it before (presumably) the Hammar and Sickel fell.

Mutual of Omaha CEO James Blackledge said that to Mutual, its logo has never had a disrespectful connotation, having been adopted years ago as a symbol of strength and respect. And he said he was aware of no complaints about it from external groups.

“But we are still using a symbol from another culture that isn’t ours,” he said in an interview. “We don’t want to or need to appropriate that symbol. The Mutual of Omaha name stands on its own, and we want to be part of the change that’s happening.”

“We want to be part of the change that’s happening?”

What is happening is that in the name of people of color, urged on by Democrats who have mistreated people of color for centuries, the public space is being purified of…people of color.

Hello!

Mia, the Indian MaidenUncle Ben, and Aunt Jamima. Trader Joe’s is dropping Trader Jose’s Mexican Beer because 3600 people signed some kid’s online petition.

Crazy Stuff!

Meanwhile, back at Mutual of Omaha, the “logo change will be accompanied by a number of other measures intended to promote racial equality and inclusivity, including internal changes and additional support for charities working toward those goals.”

Okay. What does that mean? Well, now that they’ve said it they put a target on their backs and that means something else.

Third-party activists may feel inclined to jump in and insert themselves and their politics into the process. Maybe squeeze a donation out for the Black Loudmouth Marxists who are using it to advance Race-division to push Democrat Socialism.

Maybe Mutual of Omaha thinks that when the revolution is over they’ll be riding high at the big kids table? Or, more likely, the board is ducking for cover and hoping the zombies don’t eat their brains. But base don this there may not be much there to eat.

One thing is certain. The Indians and Redskins are looking at logo changes and if this keeps up, the social space will be well on its way to having been scrubbed of anything ethnic except for the faces of far-left activists.

If I were a person of color, any color, I wouldn’t want them representing me any more than any other leftist. Those people are nuts!
