Democrats New Narrative: Russia Made it Look Like Ukraine Meddled in 2016 Election

The New York Times is the Left’s pamphleteer of record. Whatever garbage emanates from their narrative mills is the new message from Democrats. And the new message is this. Ukraine didn’t Meddle in the 2016 election. Russia made it look like it was Ukraine.

The story said that “American intelligence officials informed senators and their aides in recent weeks that Russia had engaged in a yearslong campaign to essentially frame Ukraine as responsible for Moscow’s own hacking of the 2016 election.”

Interesting. Did that “yearslong campaign” extend back to August 2016, when the Times broke the story that an entire Ukrainian government agency was investigating Paul Manafort, who at the time was serving as Trump’s campaign chairman?

Back then, the paper reported that Ukraine’s “newly formed National Anti-Corruption Bureau,” which worked in conjunction with America’s FBI, was in possession of a mysterious, handwritten diary that showed Manafort was receiving millions of dollars in payments from one of the country’s pro-Russian politicians.

No one has ever actually certified the provenance of the so-called black book. It is assumed to be about as authentic as anything Adam Schiff has said in the past six weeks, maybe ever – which is to say made up.

That’s not to say Manafort wasn’t doing anything below-board. But nothing more exotic than Joe Biden, his son Hunter, John Kerry’s step-son Chris, Pelosi’s son Paul, the entire Clinton Crime family, and by all accounts the Obama administration.

They are still walking free. Mostly because behemoth media corporations like the New York Times live to ensure they stay that way. A reminder of a story I wrote about a few weeks ago. Journalism used to be about holding the powerful to account and now it is about protecting them.
