Was at another event last nite and was rather tired when I got home so only a wee bit of surfing was done. I did note that one post (somewhere) noted that a chartered plane had flown from Boston, landed in Chicago, and then made its way to an airport near Congressman Paul Ryan’s home town. Typical caveat was given – head fake or real?
Guess it was real. From a Republican standpoint, I think this was good move (although it WOULD have been fun to have Chris Christie unleashed full time all over Obama’s and Biden’s AND Axelrod’s butts). While Ryan is not exactly a conservative movement guy, a lot of conservatives have approved of his budget (while also saying it doesn’t go far enough fast enough). However, he HAS been rather forceful in speaking lately and is acknowledged that he is a master of the budget. So, we may get that attack dog, in a wonkish manner, that out to make the VP debates rather interesting vs the current VP Gaffe-matic while offering much more of a free market solution vs Obama’s Command and Control Socialist view of how Government should be in charge of the general Society.
