Eric Holder: Out-Of-State Students Should Get a NH Driver’s License

Eric Holder held in contemptSpeaking to Democrats at Saint Anselm College on Friday, Former US Attorney General Eric Holder said Students who want to vote in New Hampshire get a NH Driver’ License and register their cars.

“If you are gonna be considered a resident of this state so you can vote, that means that you have to follow all the other residency requirements that any other citizen would have to comply with,” Holder told reporters. “If you are a New Hampshire resident you have to do a variety of things, and if you’re a college student and a resident, you should have to do the same things.”

New York Times “Runs Out Of Words” to Describe May Jobs Numbers

new-york-times-1789976_960_720I couldn’t tell you if the cable networks or the alphabets are in on this but The New York Times offered up a glowing report of May’s job’s numbers the same day I wrote this. So here’s the credit where it is due.

The real question in analyzing the May jobs numbers released Friday is whether there are enough synonyms for “good” in an online thesaurus to describe them adequately.

Erick Erickson: The Media’s Double Standards

hypocrisy (1)I had some thoughts on this yesterday but there’s room for more.

No television network has ever cancelled the number one network television show in America over a star’s behavior until this happened. Roseanne Barr has a history of making awful comments. She said people who eat at Chick-Fil-A should get cancer. She believed 9/11 conspiracy theories. She ran for President as a far left candidate for office. By the end of last week, the very same people who had been defending the honor of the MS-13 gang were attacking the honor of all Trump voters everywhere as if they were just as bad as Roseanne.

Bet You Didn’t Know – Black Unemployment Hit a Record Low In May

we're hiring jobs employmentLast Month, in April of 2018, the unemployment rate for black Americans hit a record low. You probably didn’t know that for the same reason you didn’t know this.

Overall unemployment, according to the Department of labor, dropped to 3.8%, the lowest it’s been since Y2K.

Iowa Supreme Court Rules Civil Forfeiture Laws Violate Fifth Amendment

hundreddollarbills-money-cash-bloomberg-750xx1024-576-0-53From Forbes.com care of Kevin Bloom, the Iowa Supreme Court has ruled that the state’s Civil Asset Forfeiture laws violate the Fifth Amendment to the constitution.

Under state law, property owners who want to reclaim their seized property must fully disclose “the nature and extent” of their interest in the property, as well as “the date, the identity of the transferor, the circumstances of the claimant’s acquisition.” Refusing to comply can result in the property forfeited to the state. Yet those forced disclosures may reveal information that could incriminate the owner or trigger a perjury trap, which would violate the Fifth Amendment.

They Like to Try to Weaponize Our Morality Against Us

Go Pound SandKurt Schlichter has invested some time to help the peeps deal with progressive mic-drop rubbish designed to prevent debate or silence dissent. He calls them obnoxious liberal argument cheats. And he’s got a reliable answer for each that I’ve advocated for years. So read them all. But I wanted to share at least one of his scenarios because this one comes at us from all sides.

They like to try to weaponize our morality against us, which is hilarious since they hate morality almost as much as they hate us. They create some sort of moral test, usually out of thin air, and then announce you have failed it. One of the best was the recent “Splitting up families of undocumented workers is not who we are!” Except it is who we are. We split up the families of criminals all the time and we should – there’s no nursery in San Quentin for a reason.

Proving Once Again How Right I Am

HypocriteIf you’ve missed it, and to do that you’d have had never to read a word written here (which, don’t be surprised, is common among people passing judgment on my commentary), I’ve made the case that Democrats don’t actually care about women, children, blacks, Latinos, or any of the LGBTQ folks. Add to that teachers, single moms, cops, blue-collar backbones of America, working families, and even “immigrants” legal or otherwise whether white, black, gay, you get the picture? If you are not on Team Progressive, your tribal rights are revoked. Nothing about you entitles you for anything but derision if you dare to speak outside the approved narratives.

The latest example of this comes courtesy of Samantha Bee who is getting an award for ‘Social Change,’ after calling Ivanka Trump a, hang on. This needs to go after the jump.

HB1744 - Chaptered LawHB1744, an ACT authorizing a parent to exempt his or her child from participating in the statewide assessment program, is now Law in New Hampshire. It does a few things. Media Face-palm – Blames Trump for Pics of Kids In Cages…from Obama Era

Obama-middle-finger-725x375The media went nutty (as I expect did the Never-Trumpers) over photos of children in cages attributed to Mr. Trump’s border enforcement but the images were taken…during the Obama administration.

The photos appeared in the Arizona Republic in 2014 during former President Barack Obama’s second term to illustrate the over 1,000 children detained by authorities trying to cross the border. Mr. Obama’s former speech writer Jon Favreau also tweeted out the pictures saying this is “happening right now” and the government needs to be forced to put families back together. He has since deleted the tweet.

Democrat’s Hypocritical Reaction to Gas Prices Revisited

pumping gasOn March 20th, 2014 I produced (what I thought was) a useful visual aid. It demonstrated the truth about Democrat “feelings” and “concern” for the impact of average US retail gas prices on “Working Americans” and or “American Families.” They don’t care.

It showed how, when George Bush was President, it was a huge issue. Democrats running for office in 2008 ran on it. While Gas was between three and four-dollars per gallon under Obama, four approximately four years, Democrats had nothing to say. They didn’t talk about it. It didn’t concern them.

History repeats itself, so it’s time for a new visual aid to help demonstrate the truth about the left and the cost of motor fuel.

Stormy’s Publicity Hound Lawyer Might Be A Tax Cheat.

Michael AvenattiFrom March 7th to May 15th another attention whore, (Stormy Daniel’s lawyer) Michael Avenatti appeared on television 147 times, most of those on CNN. All that ‘attention’ was supposed to hurt Mr. Trump, but something else has happened. Something worse than the defamation case stupidity I pointed out here.

Avenatti is accused of collecting payroll taxes for business concerns that never went to the IRS. He’s also, reportedly, given up filing tax returns altogether.
