NH is Ground Zero in the War On Voting Rights? Seriously?

clean-electionsSlate’s headline is “Ground Zero in the War on Voting Rights.” The Subhead reads “New Hampshire Republicans passed a bill to suppress the student vote. Democrats have one last chance to defeat it.”

Are you all that stupid? Seriously? Okay. Wait. Let’s try a little test.

It’s called “show me the student voter suppression.” Pay attention. This is complex stuff right here. Are you ready?

  1. If you over the age of 18 and not a felon can you vote?  Yes!
  2. If you pay out-of-state tuition rates because you fail to meet UNH residency requirements for in-state-tuition can you still vote absentee (by mail, without ever leaving your cozy on or off campus residence) in the state where that address resides? Yes!
  3. If you pay in-state tuition can you vote from your UNH validated New Hampshire residence? Yes!

That’s everyone.

So, where is the student vote suppression?

THERE ISN’T ANY!

This is not student vote suppression (though this might be?). Their entire argument is invalid. They are, in fact, deliberately stealing votes from actual residents. And yet they not only continue to make it, sheeple like this rube from Massachusetts (of all places) repeat it.

CHALLENGE THEM EVERY CHANCE YOU GET!!!

They are Lying!
