UNH Professor Gloats About Disrupting Conservative Speaker

J Ruby Ryan - Dave RubinFrom Campus Reform,

A disruptive heckler who was filmed harassing Dave Rubin during a speech at the University of Hampshire on May 1 turns out to be a Senior Lecturer in Women’s Studies at UNH.

Rubin, a well-known gay, Democrat online talk show host, has recently gained popularity among young conservatives for his willingness to provide a platform to conservative personalities such as Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, and transgender conservative commentator Blaire White. His May 1 UNH speech largely focused on civil discourse, free speech, and tolerance of ideas.

According to Campus Reform, UNH Women’s Studies Professor Dr. Joelle Ruby Ryan has been identified as one of the primary opponents to free speech.

We Stand at One of the Major Turning Points of History…

A notable qote: “We stand at one of the major turning points of history. Two powerful forces for regression threaten to drag us into a dark past. On the one hand, Islamists want to bring back the subjugation of women, female genital mutilation, sex slavery, beheadings, and dhimmitude for non-believers. On the other hand, their … Read more

How Would You Kill The Baby?

Molly Kelly
Molly Kelly hanging with the Clintons

Back on April 16th, Ellen Kolb, writing on her blog, reported that EMILY’s list had decided who it would support for Governor of New Hampshire in the 2018 Election.

Fresh off a victory by its preferred candidate in the Manchester mayoral election, EMILY’s List has announced that it is throwing its endorsement and cash into the New Hampshire governor’s race in support of Molly Kelly.

This reminded me of a question I asked five years ago.

If you support live birth abortion, what is the best way for “doctors” to kill those babies?

Trump Signs Bi-Partisan Dodd-Frank Reform

Trump Signs Dodd-Frank reformDodd-Frank was an epic act of overreach based on opportunity. Democrats like federal regulations. The Housing bubble they created burst and ta-da! The Majority Democrat congress saw an opportunity to give their big-bank backers a lift by screwing over all the other banks. Dodd-Frank was born, pushed through Congress, and signed by Obama.

Big Banks and their lobbyists got the Dems to put the screws to smaller competitors and Democrats called it “watchdogging” the financial industry.

Did the NFL Fumble the New Pledge Policy?

goodellIf you listen to sports talk radio, you’ll know that the NFL’s recent announcement about the National Anthem has more than a few detractors. I’ve heard everything from it’s a free speech issue, to Goodell muffed it, to the owners were not unanimous (some abstained), to the players union knew nothing about it, to why would we care?

Here’s what I think because that is, after all, why you are here.

NH Forest Rangers Want to Check Your Wood

campfirePeople who pay attention to such things are predicting a record Memorial Day Weekend for tourism in New Hampshire. Not that this is anything new. The Granite State has experienced year after year of tourism growth in contradiction to more than a decade of fearmongering by Climate Cultists that global warming would ruin the industry.

So, a note to the undeterred tourists. If you plan to bring your campfire “supplies,” New Hampshire forest rangers want to check out your wood.

Seattle Proves The Point: To Democrats There’s No Such Thing as Enough Taxation

Patriot Post seattle gun tax failWhile there are plenty of reasons to oppose Democrat rule the one that affects the most people, most often, is the obsession with spending other people’s money. To that point, I have often asked ‘how much is enough‘ so that I can answer that ‘there is no enough.’ Democrats cannot tax you enough. There is no end to the ways in which they can spend your money, or how or how much they will take. Left unchecked that is exactly what they do. And they are no longer even shy about it.

Seattle, a hub of growth and opportunity, is the gender-dysphoric Democrat poster-child for the maxim, “there is no enough.”

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand Brings the Women’s Health Care Stupid

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, like Jeanne Shaheen and her “loveable” sidekick Maggie Hassan, is part and parcel to that systemic Democrat Party deception known as “keeping the government out of your bedroom.” It started out as an excuse to let women kill unborn babies but evolved – as progressive things are wont to do – when abortion became a women’s health care issue – assuming you were not the “woman” being aborted.

In its current form, Democrats believe that the only way to keep the government out of your bedroom is for the government to control all of the health care including “Women’s Health Care.”

Democrats (if you recall) passed Obamacare all on their own because the only way to bring justice to the health care system was for the government to control it. Enter Government loving Obamacare defender, Kirsten Gillibrand.

Could EverSource State Supreme Court Victory Mean Lower Electric Rates in NH?

judge-gavelNew Hampshire has a resource problem. We’ve too many ax-grinders protesting energy infrastructure projects but you can’t create electricity with those. Not legally. You need something else. Several somethings. But each and every effort to improve energy infrastructure in the Granite State is protested, blocked, or dragged out in court until the developers give up.

If we don’t replace or update aging infrastructure, many of which the same ax-grinders are working to shutter, we’ll be reduced to wood and solar. By that I mean a world lit only by fire.

NH Republicans Decide The Hill to Die on is Letting Men Use the Ladies Room

Chris SununuWhy are the illuminated Establishment political lights in the NHGOP and GOP, several of whom should know better, pitching a cultural Marxist progressive issues “tent” in front of legislators and elected Republican Delegates when the electorate is more interested in expanding jobs, protecting tax reform, economic growth, and national security issues with a local impact like the opioid crisis?

Whose bright idea was that?

Maine’s Embrace of Broad Based Taxes vs. New Hampshire NOT Doing That.

FPI NH v Main Private sector growthOur good friend Michael Graham, writing at NH Journal, has an article titled “Study: Maine Vs. N.H. Shows “More Government Means More Poverty.”

The annual Family Prosperity Index is out and, while New Hampshire didn’t make the Top 10 (it’s ranked #16), the study’s authors did use the Granite State to make their case for more economic liberty vs. reliance on government. They used the case study of New Hampshire and its neighbor, Maine (FPI ranking: #39).

The result of Maine’s dancing with the tax devil in the “blue” moon light? More government, a shrinking private sector, and one of the highest dependency cultures in the nation.

White House Trolls Media With Press Release That Repeatedly Refers to MS-13 Gang Members as ‘Animals’

smirking-trumpWhat You Need To Know About The Violent Animals Of MS-13” is the title of a May 21st, White House Press Release. A perfect retort, touche, or as they reported over at Twitchy, “Like a BOSS! White House ‘trolls the SH*T’ out of the press corp with MS-13 press release and OMG.”

That’s what you get from this White House, which I admit is a pleasant change from the previous Republican President who let the left and the media steamroll him without a word. But it wasn’t just the Media who got trolled.

Illegal Alien TeenagersIowa Congressman Steve King has named a bill that would impose jail time for local officials who tip off illegal immigrants to federal sweeps after the Mayor of Oakland.

From Feb. 2016 to Feb. 2018 the global average temperatures dropped 0.56°C

Lisa Benson, Climate, Global Warming, HumorAaron Brown, writing at Real Clear Markets reports that, according to NASA Data, “the greatest global two-year cooling event of the last century just occurred.”

How could you have missed that news? It sounds a lot like Climate Change. The Climate changed, measurably, and historically, on the altar of the same NASA Climate Temple as all that “hottest this or that ever” news. How could the watchdogs, the scribes of truth and history, fail to report this?
