In a piece for Politico, Ilhan Omar observed that the Hope and Change of Obama was a mirage. Caging kids at the border. Droning. “We don’t want anybody to get away with murder because they are polished.” Naturally, there was push back, so she denied having made such claims and released audio to prove it.
If Democracy dies in darkness at the Washington Post, (for what amounts to an aggravated fake-news assault on a kid) what dies over at CNN? Well, the short answer is the truth. A long time ago. In the Covington kid’s case, it could cost them a lot more than what it might cost WashPo.
Gilles Bissonette of the New Hampshire ACLU made it clear to the City of Manchester that a proposed ordinance change might be unconstitutional. Paul Feely reports that by a 12-0 vote the board of Alderman approved a move that would “allow downtown business owners to control the use of sidewalks outside their storefronts year-round.”
New Mexico’s governor has signed legislation making it illegal to engage in private gun sales in the state. It is meant to close one of those loop-holes Democrats like to talk about. One that, according to the new law, does not exist for everyone.
DACA kiddies in Georgia took that state to court after being denied access to state colleges for being illegal aliens. Individuals “who are not ‘lawfully present’ (are barred from) from enrolling in selective state colleges and universities, even if they otherwise qualify for admission.”
Spencer McKinnon copped a plea deal for voting in Durham New Hampshire after submitting an absentee ballot to his how hometown in Massachusetts. McKinnon’s lawyer now says an ‘adult’ at UNH told him it was okay for him to vote here.
Despite a complete disconnect between funding and results, Democrats want more money for New Hampshire schools. Bigger budgets have produced no return on investment. None. But as I’ve noted previously, Democrats don’t care about learning. Public Schools are a vehicle for redistributing wealth to a favored constituency.
Online travel cites won a victory at the New Hampshire State Supreme Court this week. New Hampshire had sued them in search of taxes claiming the cites were functioning as ‘operators’ and subject to the State’s Rooms and Meals Tax. The court said no.
I’m not sure if it was a record crowd but I’ve been to the last three (of five) rallies, and this was the largest and then some. If you follow us on Facebook you’ve already seen the pictures. Status updates throughout the event included images of the speakers and the crowd. And yes, we have video of the entire event.
The educational establishment has been on a mission for decades — indoctrination in secular left-wing theology. The most recent iteration of this is identity politics and the assault on western culture through the use of Diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Politico reports that the Minnesota Congresswoman had some unflattering things to say about Mr. Trump’s predecessors. In a long detailed look at two districts in the state, Omar is candid about her take on Mr. Obama’s “legacy.“
American Jews vote for Democrats. It’s anyone’s guess why. The Democrat party doesn’t even like Jews, and they never have. They do not support Israel or the Israeli state. Democrats are behind every movement to isolate Isreal. And as recently as yesterday, Democrat leadership dismissed antisemitism within their own party.
The number of sanctuary Counties for Law abiding gun owners continues to swell in States held or run by liberal state governments. The state of New Mexico has 33 counties, 29 of which are now sanctuaries for the Second Amendment.
Pelosi’s one-eighty has turned a rebuke of antisemitism to an embrace as a matter of Democrat policy. An act of self-service rather than sacrifice. What could have been a hedge against hate has become another meaningless gesture that has promoted Ilhan Omar to the role of spokesperson for policy on Jews.
Jussie “Subway” Smollett has been charged by a Cook County Illinois Grand Jury. He has not been charged with a hate crime or any sort of discrimination for falsely painting white supporters of the President as abusive racists. He is not alleged to have fabricated an attack for attention. But will face 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct for lying to and then wasting the time and resources of the Chicago PD.
Nine-term Strafford County Democrat Peter Schmidt’s Wood-Stove Ban Bill died (HB290) was rebuked. The legislation would have empowered the State government to regulate certain woodstoves in certain homes depending on the will of certain bureaucrats. By “regulating” I mean force home-sellers to pull them out and destroy them as a condition of sale because they said so.
Did you hear the one about the Democrat freshman Congresswoman who said we need to start having fewer children (or none at all)? Save the planet and all that. She’s also on team Welfare State. Medicaid for all. Free College. Guaranteed Income. A mission impossible if there are not enough people alive to pay the freight.
Here’s an excellent example of how corruption and incompetence can advance stated progressive policy, even accidentally. Take the environment. Democrat Socialists in America want you to use less electricity. What better way than unplanned nation-wide blackouts?
A county prosecutor in Florida just caught an illegal voter. The news articles about it serve as an example of how the press sells the story of the person involved and voter fraud in general. Republican Candidate for Congress Steve Negron has announced that he is exploring a rematch against Democrat incumbent Ann Kuster. It would be the first of it’s kind this decade. All her previous challengers were on and done. Negron is looking seriously at running again in 2020.
