It was inevitable. My yard is still damp with March and April showers (and muddy in places), and the Fire department says the Fire Danger is High. Okay. We’ve also got reports of wildfires in Canada (are the arsonists starting early this year?), and me with my mud season decorations still up. What the heck!
Yesterday I wrote about the impossible odds that all these fires in Canada were wild, implicating a human hand. My first impulse was eco-terrorists. They love to create catastrophes and blame Climate Change. Man-made by their hand, not your lifestyle.
Local Media needs to talk about something, so why not wildfires. They are rare in Northern New England, making them ripe for a bit of scaremongering by the Climate Cult. What if, oh noes and Climate Change! How much longer will we be safe from the scourge? What scourge?
