The hearing on Jim Babcock’s theft of Grokster Norm’s campaign sign WAS supposed to be August 20th. But the wheels of Justice, as we are seeing, sometimes turn very slow. And right now slow is just plain “No.”

Destruction and removal of political signs is nothing new in the political sphere, especially during the height of a Presidential election. It is, however, against the law in New Hampshire and violators are guilty of a misdemeanor which can subject them to fines up to $1,000 if proven guilty.
In a Facebook page update, the Hollis Police Department is looking for someone and also wanted to remind people why they are looking. Stealing is a crime and that this includes political signs. To make their point, they posted this update with an image of someone illegally removing a lawn sign.
Over the last two months, the Robo-polling calls have been ramping up. Now, I’m getting anywhere from 5 to 8 calls a day. I used to answer them and I used to give truthful answers. I’d point out to the poor schlub at the other end of the call how badly worded the questions were.
