Republican Senate Says “We’ll Get Kennedy’s Replacement Confirmed This Fall”

McConnell's Shady Crew

Democrats are always mad, but at least now they have a reason. Mitch McConnell says the U.S. Senate will have a replacement on board for Justice Kennedy before the November election.

Democrat’s are (believe it or not) playing the hypocrisy card because the GOP balked at moving on Merrick Garland before the Presidential Election in 2016. They demand the same consideration here. Wait until after November.

Trump Will Get to Nominate a Replacement for Justice Kennedy – He’s Retiring!

kennedy-retiredJustice Anthony Kennedy is retiring. Mr. Trump will get to choose his replacement. And, wouldn’t it be nice if he had a Senate Majority to help him out with that?

SCOTUS Blog

Justice Anthony Kennedy announced today that he would retire from the Supreme Court, effective July 31. In a letter to President Donald Trump, Kennedy wrote that “it is the highest of honors to serve on this Court,” and he expressed his “profound gratitude for having had the privilege to seek in each case how best to know, interpret, and defend the Constitution and the laws that must always conform to its mandates and promises.”

U.S. Senate August Recess Cancelled – Democrat Obstruction Blamed

Dem Obstruction in Senate

The party of progress just got their summer vacation canceled due to their all-out effort to prevent progress.

Senators will receive “a state work period” the first full week of August, but must come back to D.C. after that.

This is bad news for the incumbent Democrat senators since they will not have the ability to campaign during the month. Democrats have 26 seats up for re-election in November along with independent seats in Maine and Vermont, both belonging to senators who caucus with the Democrats.

Really – Elizabeth Warren actually used this phrase? Cluelessness

I’m on a lot of Democrat email lists. No, I generally don’t post stuff but this was just too rich.  She just sent out an email about Florida Governor Rick Scott’s announcement that he’s going to run for US Senate against the incumbent, Democrat Bill Nelson (who, btw, would be happy to take your guns … Read more

Kelly Ayotte Went “Washington”

In Part II of our conversation with Bill O’Brien we explore how NH Senator Kelly Ayotte ran as a conservative but quickly demonstrated (once elected) that what “Washington” wants comes before campaign promises, GOP Platforms, or even the US Constitution.

Ending Sen. Ayotte’s Republican Reign of Error

Bill O’Brien joins us to talk about last weeks meeting of grassroots activists; they are looking for a single Republican candidate to primary NH Sen. Kelly Ayotte. Hassan vs Ayotte

Is Gov. Hassan going to challenge Kelly Ayotte for a US Senate seat in NH? If not, who? And what about Kelly and the new PAC that has risen to support her called “Commitments Kept”?

Limiting Principles? What Limiting Principles?

We continue with Mike Farris, on the political abandonment of the limiting principles of the constitution. How we got here. How we get back. Then it’s on to the Iran treaty and how 4 presidential candidates (from the US Senate) violated the constitution when they voted to change the rules for ratifying treaties.

A Message to the Ayotte “I told You So” Crowd

Many of us objected to Senator Ayotte’s vote to break a filibuster on gun control.  Now that the measure is dead in the Senate, and Senator Ayotte voted to kill it, and Obama is mad as hell, the folks who thought we were overreacting, are all “well SEE!?” To these folks I submit the following:  … Read more

Demand an end to indefinite detention without charge and extrajudicial assassination of American Citizens under the NDAA.

Obama’s lawyers have laid out who he can kill. “[T]he confidential Justice Department “white paper” introduces a more expansive definition of self-defense or imminent attack than described by Brennan or Holder in their public speeches. It refers, for example, to what it calls a “broader concept of imminence” than actual intelligence about any ongoing plot against the U.S. homeland.

Has Jeanne Shaheen Had A Come To Jesus Moment on Taxes?

Eighteen Democrat US Senators have sent a letter to Harry Reid requesting that the Medical Device tax portion of Obama-Care be delayed. The letter does not say it directly, preferring to dance around the issue, but it is obvious that these 18 Democrats, New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen among them, believe the Medical Device tax … Read more
