If The Dover New Hampshire Court Suspends The ID law…

I’m not sure what the outcome will be of the suit to suspend the new Voter ID and domicile requirements in New Hampshire, but if the four out of state college students somehow succeed, I would like to suggest that we move to refund them the difference between in-state and out-of state tuition. If they … Read more

Where “Grassroots” Can Earn You $100.00/Hour

There’s an ad on Craigslist for professional political workers. (the entire ad is on the jump).

Grassroots solutions, which claims to be a national field organization that is all about helping coordinate grassroots political efforts, is hiring people to help Planned Parenthood of Northern New England do door to door canvassing in the Concord and Manchester Area to promote pro-abortion candidates (women’s health)…that would be Democrats.  You get $100/hour plus gas allowance.

I have a lot of questions.  Like how can it be grassroots if you pay $100.00 per hour?  Or, how is it that Planned Parenthood of Northern New England can afford to run this canvassing campaign but can’t run their business model without my tax dollars?

Classroom Political Bias in Merrimack New Hampshire

It’s not the first time that reports have reached my ears of obvious political bias in the classrooms of the Merrimack School System.  Tales of Middle School English teachers using their classrooms to promote the “science” of global warming we’re not uncommon, and while annoying not prevalent enough to demand action. The most recent circumstance … Read more

The Newspaper Ad Revenue Collapse

This more or less speaks for itself. Feel free to form up into work groups and report back after lunch. Or you could just lean back in your chair and bask in the glow of alternative media (aka-choices) beating up the dinosaur media like an SEIU thug on a Tea Party Protester.

Ask A NH Democrat – About Free Speech

Free Speech FlagA private citizen made a lousy YouTube video about six months ago.  A few days ago islamo-fascists used it as a vehicle to inflame Muslim uprisings.  Under the cover of same, Americans were killed, or in some cases executed.  The Obama Administration’s response to the killings was to send the police out in the dark of night and collect the man they believe responsible for making the video.

Muslims, living in third world arm-pits, are familiar with this strategy.  People disappearing in the night when they have displeased those in power by saying something that has made them look bad.  They do not have free speech.  But we do.  Well, we are supposed to.

So ask a New Hampshire Democrat…

Bill Maher Made A Film That Mocked Islam

I never saw the movie (almost no one did) but according to Breitbart.com the last 20 minutes of the Bill Maher angry-atheist-Christian bashing is free speech vanity film, Religulous, makes a “damning case against Islam. Maher’s films tumbled in and out of theaters a few years back while–Osama was still above water–without any incident on … Read more

There is no Forward with Obama (c/o A Notable Quote – John C. Calhoun)

“..as individuals differ greatly from each other, in intelligence, sagacity, energy, perseverance, skills, habits of industry and economy, physical power, position and opportunity,–the necessary effect of leaving all free to exert themselves to better their condition, must be a corresponding inequality between those who may possess these qualities and advantages in a higher degree, and … Read more

If The Attack on The US Embassy Wasn’t Pre-planned…

...then why scrub the memo issued by the US department of State, dated September 6th, announcing no credible security threats to our embassies on the anniversary of 9-11?   That’s right, a blogger caught the change and posted it.

The US State department issues a memo to its embassies indicating there are no credible threats for the anniversary of 9/11.  There are no marines stationed in Benghazi to protect the ambassador.  The administration is insiting the attack was some random act of outrage over some obscure six months old you Tube video.

But the Libyan President says he has no doubt the attack was planned months in advance (also here).  Al Qaeda is now claiming it was a planned retribution.   A Local security official in Libya says he warned the US of the deteriorating security situation 3 days before the attack.  Attackers worked in concert, with heavy weapons, knew where to be and where to go.  The Serbian consulate wants to know why the Obama administration posted a Gay ambassador in a Muslim country.  And now the original State Department memo no longer includes any mention of there being no credible threats, that Al Qaeda was not “plotting any kind of attack overseas” on the anniversary of 9-11.

Remembering Democrat Rule – No Taxes Means More Taxes

In 2007 New Hampshire Democrats assumed complete control of state government.  And much like the Democrat rhetoric in the current 2012 campaign, back in 2007,  their first budget,  New Hampshire’s first budget over 10 billion dollars, was billed by the Democrats as a budget that “addresses our state’s priorities without new taxes.” Addresses our ‘State’s’ … Read more

Ask New Hampshire Democrats…Will You Let Obama Seize our Guns? (Fixed Link)

President Obama, who promised to pursue gun control under the radar, has fulfilled that promise.Oh No Guns....and magazines...and ammo

Obama has expanded civil-forfeiture rules making it permissible for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to seize weapons from citizens without the hassle of due process.

This effectively gives Attorney General Eric Holder, of Fast and Furious fame, extended power over guns and gun-related property.

What $6.6 Million In Campaign Donations Buys You In Obama-Land

Jeffy Katzenberg bundles 6.6 Million for Campaign Obama and, coincidentally, manages to get a meeting with the Communist Chinese Vice President, after which Katzenberg is allowed to build a Studio in China.  But it gets better.  Apparently Obama is not the only socialist whose pockets he is lining.  The SEC is investigating whether Katzenberg may have bribed communist officials to ease the process of getting his new DreamWorks studio built in Shanghai.

Bribing is not uncommon in Communist China. but isn’t this off-shoring?  Is there a shortage of US officials Katzenberg could bribe aside from Obama?  And why is he building a huge studio in China?  California too expensive?

Loony Democrat Say’s She’ll Vote for SEIU Endorsed Republican

Notable Quotes: Russell Kirk – John Randolph

Law will change, indeed, with the times; but arbitrary intervention in the process, rude revision upon abstract concepts a la French taste, is a short and nasty way to social caducity.  When a people begin to think that they can improve society infinitely by incessant alteration of positive law, nothing remains settled; every right, every … Read more

Endorsements – Hillsborough 21 (Merrimack)

Steve picks his preferences for the NH House in Merrimack, (Hill Dist 21)The town of Merrimack (Hillsborough District 21) has been my home for 17 years.   And this year Merrimack (still) has eight house seats but ten Republican candidates running to fill them.   As a Conservative I feel compelled to select the eight who I feel will best represent the New Hampshire Republican Platform and the interest of my town and State as I view them.

So I’m no different than the rest of you, except that I may be paying a little bit more attention (maybe), I vote principle before party–though I will not bite off my own nose to spite my face, and my soap-box…well, it is just a little bit big bigger than that of the average voter.

So these are my personal endorsements for Hills-21, though I can assure you that my A-Team picks are all GranitGrok Worthy.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz – Empty Chair of the Democrat Party Caught Lying in Smear of GOP (Twice)

“I didn’t say he said that,” Wasserman Schultz insisted. “And unfortunately, that comment was reported by a conservative newspaper. It’s not surprising they would deliberately misquote me. What didn’t she say that they say she said? “We know — and I’ve heard no less than Ambassador Michael Oren say this — that what the Republicans … Read more
