Data Point – Big Tech Hates Republicans

December 8, 2022 Skip

Silicon Valley and its ilk have long left their more libertarian ideas behind and are solidly behind the more autocratic and Collectivist Party…but you knew that already, didn’t you? Well, here’s some quantification of your belief in that: (H/T: Powerline)

Housekeeping: One Grokster’s Opinion is Not ‘Our’ Opinion – We are Not a Monolithic Hive Mind

November 29, 2022November 28, 2022 Steve MacDonald

I briefly spoke to a group of newly elected NH House reps a few weeks back. Present at the function were members of NH Republican House “Leadership.” I noted the slim nature of their majority and said that we (GraniteGrok) might be able to help them with critical priorities.

NH GOP Delegate and Gunstock Area Commissioner Douglas Lambert Arrested and Charged with Simple Assault

November 28, 2022 Skip

Once again, Douglas Lambert has fallen off the Political High Wire Act that has always been his downfall. His hubris has caused him to believe, again (like the Ray Buckley incident) that he was politically invulnerable and impervious to any reaction. He needs to RESIGN NOW from being an NH GOP Delegate and his Commissioner … Read more

November 17, 2022November 17, 2022 Skip

Last Wednesday, 11/9/22, was the monthly meeting for the Belknap County Republican Committee. Instead of the normal agenda, the first part of the meeting was set aside to consider charges against former NH State Rep Gregg Hough for materially disrupting the October meeting by calling into the Weirs Times office, via a proxy (who has … Read more

Trump is Running in 2024 – Dem vs. Republican Response

November 16, 2022 Steve MacDonald

The big news that’s not so big ‘cuz everyone should have seen it coming is that Donald Trump has announced he is running for President in 2024. There are many good reasons to do it this soon, but the consensus from the Machine is he should have waited, which is why he didn’t.

So, the 2022 elections are over, and NH decided that it had no intention of bringing about a change in political direction in Washington, DC.

Belknap County Republican Committee: In the Case of Gregg Hough vs GraniteGrok

October 14, 2022 Skip

Well, I think is the end of this particular running saga – but politics is not rational. To recap, soon-to-be former Rep. Gregg Hough is trying is employ what Gunstock Area Commissioner Doug Lambert (of DGF Industrial) used on fellow Republicans and Gunstock Area Commissioners Peter Ness and Dr. David Strang.

BCRC October Meeting: Keynote Speaker: Brendan Smith, Editor of the Weirs Times

October 14, 2022October 13, 2022 Skip

Last night was a rather contentious meeting of the Belknap County Republican Party – most because of two agitators (see, I can play the “unnamed” blame game, too). But the details of that will be coming later.

What’s the Over/ Under That Citizens for Belknap Will Endorse Democrat Lisa Dimartino over a “Reasonable, Responsible Republican”?

The CfB already knocked out the most conservative Republicans in the Primary over most of Belknap County. It is clear that those it missed and survived their Primaries (as in Alton Barnstead – Paul Terry, Barbara Comtois, Peter Vadney) will be targeted again. CfB is a Democrat-started, funded, and run Political Action Committee (even if … Read more

The Truth Is … Joe Biden’s Agenda And Mitch McConnell’s Agenda Are One and The Same

September 29, 2022 Ed Mosca

So the Senate just passed a continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown. The CR needed 60 votes to pass, which means that the GOP had the leverage to actually do something about the things they claim to care about. They did NOT:

Leading Pollster: “GOP Voters Will Be ‘Virtually Impossible To Poll’ After Biden’s ‘MAGA Republicans’ Attacks”

September 21, 2022 Skip

That’s the title over at The Daily Wire. I think it holds very true:

“A leading independent pollster said Saturday that polls might seriously undercount Republican voters in the current political climate.

Still catching up. TMEW developed shingles on Thursday. For the third time. After getting the Shingrex vaccine. Twice.

And the Grandson got sick at the same time. So, I had to play both nursemaid and homemaker over the weekend and fell behind on ‘Grok stuff. A LOT of it. Including processing this video of the meeting.

While Biden and Democrats Feast on Failure, Do Republicans Have a Plan?

September 9, 2022 Ray Cardello

Our divider-in-chief has set the tone for the midterms and probably 2024 with all of the verbal assaults on Republicans, precisely what he calls MAGA Trump or Trumpies. The man who claimed he was the great unifier has pulled a 180 and is showing there are no limits to this rhetoric.

NH Republicans in Primaries – These Candidates Have Very Good to Excellent Voting Records.

August 29, 2022August 29, 2022 Op-Ed

Previous RINO Reports mentioned some of the good guys who are in primaries with RINOs. This report mentions more of the good guys who are in primaries.

Ratings are based on candidates’ RINO scores (good is low) and also on HRA (House Republican Alliance) scores (good is high).

My Response to Laconia’s NH State Rep Gregg Hough’s Allegations To Have the BCRC throw GraniteGrok out of their meetings

August 28, 2022 Skip

In my post a couple of days ago (“Laconia State Rep Gregg Hough: With All His Other Political Enemies, He’s Decided to Anger GraniteGrok, too?“), I presented his allegations to the Belknap County Republican Committee as to why its Executive Committee (e.g., Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary (who was absent from the hearing), and At-Large member) … Read more

Gregg Hough has Gov. Chris Sununu calling for him to be ousted. The Progressive/Democrat Citizens for Belknap PAC is gunning for his seat. True Conservatives are set against him. And he wants to pick a fight with GraniteGrok??

Diogenes, Democrats, and Dick Swett

August 19, 2022 Michael Moffett

According to legend, the Greek philosopher Diogenes strolled about with a lamp, purportedly looking for an honest man. Were he in New Hampshire today looking for an honest Democrat he could find one in Bow in the person of former congressman and ambassador Dick Swett?

The Dem’s FBI Helps Donald Trump Set a Fundraising Record!

August 11, 2022 Steve MacDonald

Democrats do things, and it makes you wonder how many anticipate the side-effects of those actions. Anti-crime policies create more crime. Anti-poverty efforts launder money but never improve poverty. The anti-inflation bill will increase inflation. Did they know that raiding Trump’s house would result in this?
