WMUR is reporting that the body of Greg Surbey was found in Tyngsboro in the Merrimack River. If you recall our original report on the FBI raid in Keene, Greg’s name turned up. He’d been missing for weeks. The police do not suspect foul play in his death, but I’ve been told he wouldn’t kill himself.

Nashua City Attorney Jesse Neumann is not doing his job. He is providing poor reasons and little legal basis for denying information requests. Of course, Mr. Neumann does not work for individual residents, however, he should be willing to work with individuals to clarify requests, explain how our records are maintained so we can request them in the correct format.

NH RSA 91-A:4 governs the public disclosure and inspection of governmental records. The statute requires that records must be available for inspection and copying during the regular business hours of the public body or agency – unless a record is temporarily unavailable because it’s actually being used.
Another Citizen Activist Arrested At Nashua City Hall
A second Nashua resident, another woman, was arrested at Nashua City Hall for “criminal trespass” while seeking public information. That’s two arrests in less than a month at the Nashua City Hall, so we’re starting to see a pattern.
