Some new research from two Japanese scientists has discovered, or at least posits (using science), “That the Omicron variants are formed by a completely new mechanism that cannot be explained by previous biology.” What they mean is that they do not appear to have occurred naturally.
Mark Steyn
The Land Where Everything is Policed Except Crime
Mark Steyn’s title is recycled here without remorse or regret becasue it nails “it” on the head. Please do him the favor a click, and perhaps a listen since we stole the headline, because while he is talking about the UK cops in this instance, there is bleed over into current-day America.
The Turning of a Liberal Screw
We like to remind our readers about the complicated relationship Democrats have with the truth. Like, all lawful gun-owners are criminals, and they’ll prove it just as soon as they pass enough laws to make that true. Another excellent example comes to us from Mark Steyn.
The Obama Administration’s ‘Special Relationship’ with MI6
If you’d like to get more detail into election tampering by the Obama Administration and MI6, Mark Steyn has a great piece out today with lots of details and questions no Democrat will ever ask with observations like this that should worry everyone. They took tools designed to combat America’s foreign enemies and used them … Read more
Mark Steyn’s Take is (naturally) Better on Eric Schneiderman
Yesterday I reported on the abrupt demise of #MeToo New York AG Eric Schneiderman. Mark Steyn had some thoughts on this as well, and being Mark Steyn, they are excellent. The piece, titled ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Schneiderman,’ begins like this. It was a busy news day in America, with primary races in four states and … Read more
At SteynOnline, “The Benghazi Lie.” At Cold Fury, “Steyn Stumbles.”
“Cold Fury”? It’s a blog site with an excellent analysis of a recent column by Mark Steyn (a citizen of the Free State of New Hampshire by the way). The writing at Cold Fury, Steyn Stumbles, is well worth reading. So is Steyn’s column, The Benghazi Lie. Both are well worth it.
Mark Steyn on freedom of thought, political correctness, and the homosexual agenda
The very erudite and always witty Mark Steyn has a column up at National Review Online about how, when it comes to the homosexual agenda, you vill not be ahlowed to ignohr zee agenda! You vill oh-bey! Of course, some people are exempt, such as Al Sharpton, referring to “Greek homos,” or Islamic leaders urging that homosexuals be … Read more
Today’s Steyn – A Must Read
I usually don’t simply cite an article to read without offering something to say on my own. However, today, anything that I would offer would be superfluous. Steyn, brilliant as ever. The Massacre of the Innocents
BlogLine of the Day – from our very own New Hampshire-ite, Mark Steyn
Over at The Corner, there is a discussion going on about Obama’s “best shot” against Romney is Big Bird – how DARE he take Big Bird away from little children! Well, Mark decides to “help” out the Obama campaign staff with a suggestion: Katrina, re that ruthless Obama attack ad hanging the albatross of Big … Read more
FauxBama FauxMemoir Real Trouble
From Mark Steyn (Fellow NH Resident no actually from here.) Courtesy of David Maraniss’ new book, we now know that yet another key prop of Barack Obama’s identity is false: His Kenyan grandfather was not brutally tortured or even non-brutally detained by his British colonial masters. The composite gram’pa joins an ever-swelling cast of characters … Read more
A New Front in The War on Women – Do Liberal Chicks Dig Polygamy?
Piggy-backing off of Tim’s post on Mark Steyn’s recent article, I think the polygamy thing (which Tim does not mention) is worth visiting–repeatedly of course–just to remind everyone of the kind of campaign this has been and will continue to be. Nothing coming from the Obama side will be relevant or substantive, everything utter nonsense. And nonsense with the same lack of sourcing on the Democrat side as we’ve seen in everything they do.
From Mark Steyn’s recent article
For their next exploding cigar, the Democrats chose polygamy. Brian Schweitzer, the Democrat governor of Montana, remarked that Romney was unlikely to appeal to women because his father was “born on a polygamy commune.” Eighty-six percent of women, noted Gov. Schweitzer with a keenly forensic demographic eye, are “not great fans of polygamy.” You can understand the 86 percent’s ickiness at the whole freaky-weirdy idea of a president descended from someone who had multiple wives. Eww.
Mark Steyn again: On dog-eating, exploding cigars, and “self-loathing cultural relativism”….
Mark Steyn continues a recent rampage! And damn is he good. Freestater Mark Steyn (pace the Democrats: In New Hampshire we are all Freestaters now) is on a red-hot roll, if not a full-blown tantara! When it comes
to Obama and the “We-Are-All-Socialists-Now” Democrats, Steyn’s newly re-energized acidulousness is bracing! Take no prisoners! I mean…consider our President’s penchant for dog-eating: Steyn notes that it won’t hurt the President with certain Democrat voters, because “he knows that to the average upscale white liberal it has the electric frisson of the exotic other.”
“Exotic other”? “Electric frisson”? Oh yeah. Referencing other culinary choices from the “exotic other” that might give those Democrats electric frissons, Steyn writes: “I’m not suggesting that President Obama has eaten a human penis, because, if he had, he’d almost certainly have boasted about it to the impressionable NPR ninnies who gobbled up his memoirs. But I am suggesting…
Blind fools, in the service of blind, enervated American elites….
Can extremely highly educated, very widely traveled and knowledgeable people be amazingly, obviously, exceptionally, absolutely blind to the lessons of history? Mark Steyn—who not incidentally lives in the Free State of New Hampshire—explains that, why yes, as a matter of fact they can be. In fact, there’s an example of one—well respected!—who recently wrote a … Read more
