In New Hampshire if you are even slightly “nipped” by a dog, you can make a pile of cash! We are not talking about a Pit Bull Terrier or a Rottweiler or a German Shepherd Dog. Nope. It’s that special time of year when atheism gets more Constitutional religious freedom than any actual religion, the lefts devotion to separation of church and state does not prevent union government employees from enjoying paid days off for…religious holidays, and we get to remind ourselves that what believing in a power greater than yourself really means is trusting a godless government that fears no power greater than itself to act as our moral compass.

Ask Carol Shea-Porter, well–ask any New Hampshire Democrat actually, about warrant-less wire taps. Remember those? The Democrats got all wound up about them under a previous president, but lets be honest; it was not because they really gave a damn about your rights or your privacy.
They got wound up because they viewed it as a political opportunity. They felt that they could win votes and seats (and political power) by bashing George Bush and Republicans on that particular issue if they talked about it enough.
What’s that? You don’t believe me when I tell you Democrats didn’t really care? You don’t think it was just about politics and power? Well why haven’t we heard a word out of them about this issue since Obama came to office?
Or didn’t you know? According to the ACLU…more people were subjected to pen register and trap and trace surveillance in the past two years than in the entire previous decade.

Some time during the black of night, on August 24th, our office sign at 47 Main St. Plymouth, was for the 4th time in recent years vandalized. Our signs have been handcrafted and donated by our members. The first 2 times the sign was stolen and recovered once. The replacement sign suffered minor damage after a major blow and now the immature element that exists in Plymouth has spray painted it with the word “FAGS’. Well guess what, we are not going to replace or repair the sign, as of now, but will leave it as is a visible reminder to those entering down town Plymouth from the South, of this probably minimal, but immature element of Plymouth’s population. The incident has been reported to Plymouth PD and if you have any information regarding it please report it to them at 536-1804.

Democratic candidate for governor, Maggie Hassan, was recently endorsed by New Hampshire’s largest union*, the National Education Association (NEA-NH).
In their press release, the union stated that “Maggie shares our belief that good public schools are the foundation for strong communities and a vibrant economy and that for our students and schools to thrive, we all need to be held accountable — teachers, parents, students and elected officials. She knows that continuing to slash school funding risks losing an entire generation of students who won’t get a second chance…”
Union President, Scott McGilvary, also stated that “it became very apparent that there was one candidate that can stand up for public education and bring us forward and that Maggie Hassan is our candidate.”
“National day of intolerance,” glibly chided Shepard Smith of Fox News a few days ago in reference to the latest in the culture wars: the national Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day–geez, they’re so biased at Fox. For those of you that pay more attention to the throwing of badminton matches, swim meets, or flies collecting on your dog’s latest masterpiece than to the culture wars, I’ll provide a little background. The Chick-fil-A issue revolves around remarks about gay marriage made by the president of that company, followed by a response by some mayors around the country, then followed with people in support of the restaurant with Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. (This is still unfolding at the time of this writing, but I heard a “kiss-in” is to occur at some point. Stay tuned.)
To summarize the Chick-fil-A president’s opinion on gay marriage: he’s not for it, and for saying so, two notable mayors sounded off and said Chick-fil-A can’t set up shop in their cities. Way to show tolerance, guys!
