It was a lot of Democrats in the “Blue Wall” state that crossed over and voted for Trump in 2016. Not so much in 2018 BUT! It seems that what happened for Trump then MAY be starting to rise up again in 2020.
Trump Support Among Black Americans up to 34%
Two recent polls have shown a rise in approval for President Trump among black Americans. Emerson has that number at 34.5%, with Rasmussen showing it at 34 percent. If accurate, after three years of being labeled a racist, it’s tectonic, politically.

The Left’s non-stop racism canard is effective. With privileged white Democrats. And while they work that narrative mill day-in-and-day-out, recent polling suggests it’s not as effective with people of color as they’d like to think.
