That would be the Women’s Defense League of NH. Remember, Starbucks made “a request”, not a demand and not a policy of “get out”. What, they want another PR Black Eye?
Sidenote: Hmmm, pun wasn’t intended as I was typing it, but why not pile on Starbucks right now? After all, by requiring ALL of their employees to attend this meeting, and telling their baristas a while ago that Starbucks was a place for them to engage their customers in talks about race (Huh? Trying to have it BOTH ways. Again?)

Fool Me Once, Shame on You, Fool Me One Hundred Times….Call Me A Republican Senator
The Sunday Union Leader has a staff editorial in which it comes to the defense of Senator Ayotte accepting and attending an invite to dinner with Mr. Obama and a number of other ‘Ranking’ (see also Rank) GOP Senators.
To suggest that there is no value in conveying that message to the President in person, in a casual setting in which a working relationship might develop, is to misunderstand the way politics works.
Last August, Sen. Tom Coburn (who attended last Wednesday’s dinner) came to the defense of the Tea Party during an interview on MSNBC. Among his points was that Tea Party activists “understand that you’ve got to have human relations to get along in this world.” It is amazing and disappointing that so many activists on both sides think that progress is made by refusing to work with anyone in the other camp.
This is the way politics works, except in the case of Mr. Obama’s politics, this only works for him.
The most arrogant….
“The most interesting arrogant man in the world” (H/T: Reuters) REALLY? Reuters? One of the Obama boosting MSM? Yup? Do I dare issue a “If Obama has lost Reuters…”? Or is it more of “Really? Reuters is participating in the Alinskying of Obama?”
Where Diane Lacy, President of NH SEA / SEIU can’t even get simple facts right – and tips hand on the upcoming NH election cycle.
On WMUR “Closeup” this morning, replacement host James Pindell interviewed Diane Lacy, President of the NH State Employee Association and NH Rep. Will Infantine (R-Manchester) during his first segment). Well, during the interview, Ms. Lacy shows that either she has no grasp of real facts or is just what many people believe: that the SEIU is just another name for “Progressive Democrats” in that they just make up facts and say them as truth. And keep repeating them, just like NH Progressive Press Sec. Harrell Kirstein and Uber-Progressive Chair Ray “Buckles” Buckley And are in the tank for Obama, as the national SEIU spent over $70 million, by their own admission, trying to get Obama elected. Lacy concentrated on three things:
- Unions = Middle Class
- Republican supported budget hurts union workers (with an assisted jab question from James Pindell)
- Speaker Bill O’Brien is a Free Stater
- In fact, NH is overrun by Free Staters (and she has no clue who or how many)!
- She is making the wedge appeal to the RINOs for support with “hey, THOSE Republicans are not like you – support us!”
- But she’ll replace those RINOS with union members who will be running for election.
- And kinda mumbled something that without automatic union due deductions from union member paychecks, e-commerce in NH is dead.
Like this first statement by Diane Lacy:
“Middle Class is under attack here in NH and the way to get to the Middle Class is by taking away their rights.”
This is getting to be old, but let’s walk through this, shall we?
Obama’s Orwellian AttackWatch Slayed!
Democrats are hypocrites. I call them hypocrats. They cry about government spies, burning the Constitution, and trampling on our rights, except when their party is doing the trampling. They then institute speech intimidating spy on your neighbor “trial Balloons” like #AttackWatch and go “What?” if anyone dares complain.
There Are No “Rules” For Radicals
The democrat leadership loves to project their feelings and intentions on others. By their calculus, if it is happening inside their obsessed little minds everyone has to feel that way. It is why they can’t help claiming that anything anyone does or says in opposition to them or their agenda does so from a position of fear or hate. That is how they think and feel. It is what drives them. It must also drive you.
They then filter that misconception into populist rants demanding that everyone within a 100 mile ideological radius of some perceived slight denounce whomever or whatever they have painted as ill will.
This is classic Alinsky with a twist. Rules for Radicals demands that you hold your opponents to their own moral standards, make them follow their own rules, and pummel them (and anyone near them) relentlessly at every opportunity. They do this knowing humans are flawed and incapable of perfection on their own which is amusing because in their preferred secular state there is only one source of power to guide us and it is them and the same rules do not apply to democrats.
