Obama’s Orwellian AttackWatch Slayed!

Democrats are hypocrites.  I call them hypocrats.  They cry about government spies, burning the Constitution, and trampling on our rights, except when their party is doing the trampling.  They then institute speech intimidating spy on your neighbor  “trial Balloons” like #AttackWatch and go “What?” if anyone dares complain.

If you’ve forgotten what AttackWatch was, back in mid September Jim Messina and the Obama team concocted it as a place for people to identify and report opposition commentary about the President so they could “set the record straight.”   This isn’t Nabisco asking people to let them know if something is wrong with the crackers.  This is the office of a man basted in the corrupt Chicago Political Machine,  charged with enforcing the nations laws as he sees fit, and technically the most powerful chief executive on the planet, asking people to report dissenters.  Chilling.

But we’ve been at this for three years now and this is not the first intimidation rodeo from Obama (Like the Obama Truth Squad for example), so the ‘Right’s” reaction to AttackWatch was swift and fatal.  They ridiculed the crap out of it.

The #AttackWatch hash tag erupted with every manner of comment and “record straightening” queries…from conservatives and Republicans.  Entire blogs committed themselves to the ridicule, adding viral video, images, and cartoons to the fray.  Before the dust settled, there was no way the web site or the twitter feed, was ever going to be of much use for its intended purpose and as of this writing, (according to Big Journalism.com) has been dark for three weeks.  No Twitter activity.  No updates.

AttackWatch is Dead.  Long live the Rights acceptance of Alinksy rule #5.  (No it’s not ‘No Pufftas’ Bruce.)

#5 Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.   Yes.  Yes it is.
