This is the time of the year that the air is filled with joy and recognition of America’s Independence Day and the formation of one of the greatest nations on Earth. There is something for everyone: spectacular fireworks, family and friends’ gatherings, concerts, patriotic music, parades, and traditional BBQ.
Columnist Josh Barro says you should, “Celebrate American prosperity with your fine kitchen appliances and make the food for the cookout indoors.” Shouldn’t a columnist know that it is not a cookout if you cook in?
Activity is high but we’re heading into a long vacation weekend – Independence Day. Long may our Great American Experiment last – so do your best to celebrate it and make the Democrat / Progressive / Socialist / Communist / Marxist tears flow!
Happy 4th! I hope we can all celebrate the vision and bravery it took for people to rise up to create the US of A. Recall the sacrifices of many of the Declaration signatories, and the continual efforts through the years to keep and strengthen our country through assaults from both inside and out.
COVID19 is of such grave concern to the left that they are cautioning ‘Americans’ not to gather to celebrate independence day unless you are gathering to protest it, then, by all means, as you were.

High heat presents a danger to everyone but if you’ve had a cardiac event you have to pay a bit more attention to the temperature. Medications that slow heart rate reduce the efficiency with which blood flow can help dissipate body heat. Others exaggerate the body’s response to heat. And at no point do you want to make a damaged heart work harder to compensate for excessive exposure to high temperatures.
So, I’m writing this from an air-conditioned room.
The bloggers of RightOnline 2012–sounds like a bad idea for a calendar–took to the internet yesterday to share some thoughts on the 236th anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence.
