Don’t Tell Me Who You Are, Show Me What You Vote For

If you have been paying any attention to politics in America and NH today, you know that the Democrat Party has become steadily more radical, and I’ll say it, more un-American.

ICYMI: Joe Biden is the best that the Democrats had to offer

And I started thinking about that challenge that our parents would make when they tried to warn us about spending time with the wrong people: “Don’t tell me who you are, show me your friends”.  They knew from experience, if you let the wrong people in your life, it would end badly for you.  And I think that is every bit as true for a state and a country as it is for a person.

The same challenge made by our parents about our friends can be applied to your choice of political representatives: “Don’t tell me who you are, show me what you vote for”.

Let’s talk about what voting for the Democrat party today means:

  • Envy
  • Greed
  • Racial divisiveness
  • Open borders
  • A Welfare State
  • Taking your wealth
  • Taking away your right to defend your family
  • Taking away your right to speak freely without fear of being attacked; and
  • The unrestricted killing of unborn children, even ones that can live outside their mother’s body.

I want you to picture yourself looking in the mirror and saying:

  • “I want to take my neighbor’s stuff so I can have more”
  • “I want to promote identity politics to foster hate and divide my community”
  • “I want to ruin the future of my children by dissolving our borders and running a welfare state”
  • “I want to make myself unable to protect my family”
  • “I want to be shouted down and to be afraid to speak my mind”; and
  • “I want to kill children right up to the moment of birth”

Is that who you are?  Because that is who the Democrat Party is today.

But I’m not here to simply criticize, I want to talk about how we can unite and make things better for all of us.

Education:

This is the great equalizer.  We’re going to stop throwing good money at bad educational theories. We’re going to get back to basics. We’re going to stop making our schools into daycares and indoctrination centers. We’re going to return to the tried and true, including teaching lessons about American civics and American exceptionalism.  We are the greatest nation on earth, it’s time we started teaching our children that again.  And the key is to give you educational choices for your children’s future.

Opportunity:

We’ll make sure that the playing field is level for all parties.  Society does better when everyone is given a chance to succeed and especially when the best and the brightest are encouraged to go as far as they can.  I never got a job from a poor man, let’s encourage people to be successful, and to get rich, they make the wealth pie bigger for everyone.

Border Security

Good fences make good neighbors.  We must screen the people coming in, so we do not let our enemies walk over our borders and set up terrorist sleeper cells, or import bio-weapons to use against us, and it will also help stop human trafficking.  We don’t separate families that apply for visas and come in legally.  Build the wall, make people come in the right way, and we won’t have a border crisis.

We welcome the best and brightest, it will only make us stronger, but it must be our decision.  Americans must be the masters of our fate; we will decide who we invite to into our country.  It’s called Freedom of Association.

We are also generous and good people; we will support foreign aid that we know is getting to those who need it most and that is designed to make these people self-sufficient. Let’s teach our foreign neighbors how to fish and they won’t feel the need to come and ask for fish here.

The 2nd Amendment

It is a dangerous world, and no one has the right to take another person’s right to defend themselves, especially the government.  Anyone who is a student of history knows that the first thing a government with evil intentions will do is disarm its populace.

Tragedy occasionally happens in an armed society, mass-murders regularly happen in a disarmed one.

Freedom of speech

The right to speak freely is under attack, and the epicenter of this evil development is our colleges!  Support all efforts to protect the rights of all parties to speak even when it is unpopular.  When voices are stifled, violence is encouraged.  Work to restore our freedom of speech, starting with our college campuses.

Taxes

The best place for your money is in your pocket.  Keep the tax burden as low as possible.  It is the key to a responsible right-sized government.  Limitation is the mother of invention.

Spending

The out of control government spending in DC is making our children debt-slaves. They will be expected to pay for a party they were never invited to attend.  Let’s do everything in our power to end this irresponsible behavior.

Protect Life

The civil rights question of our generation is not whether men can use the lady’s bathroom, it is when do we recognize the personhood of the unborn?  Roe v. Wade is not the law of the land, it is a terribly flawed and immoral judicial decision made by an activist court.  A very dark chapter started in our country’s history when that ruling was made, and the resulting mass-murder continues.  Work to overturn Roe v. Wade and restore the rights of the states to decide when life begins for themselves.

Conclusion

Our best days are ahead of us if we can restore people with American values and beliefs to our legislative bodies.

I sincerely hope that the Democrat Party will eventually reject the radicals and radicalism that has metastasized within that Party.  But we must deal with it as it is now.  Our short-term solution to self-survival and restoration as a State and a Republic is to deny the radical Democrat ideology from having any legislative majority in American today.

NH gave the Democrats a chance, and they have failed miserably and dangerously.  Thank God you had the wisdom to elect Governor Sununu.  The Governor, and the unified Republican minority in Concord, have kept the worst of the attempted damage to NH from occurring and being irreparable.

We could continue in this legislative stalemate, but NH will never become freer and more prosperous, with lower heating and electric bills, while Democrats control the House, Senate, and Executive Council.

The Republican Party may be made of imperfect people, but at least they are not trying to take all your stuff and run every aspect of your lives.  Please restore legislative sanity, create more educational choices, and the chance for economic recovery and greater prosperity.

NH, vote for the NH Republicans to be the majority party again.

I promise you; you will be happy that you did.
