From the Women’s Defense League: The Senate Judiciary Committee voted Inexpedient To Legislate on House Bill 1711 – the gun confiscation bill passed in the House thanks to a majority of gun control representatives. This bill will now be voted on by the entire NH Senate.

So Kids, What Did We Learn From This Week’s House Session (3/28/24)?
We learned that it took from 9am until 7pm, with an hour or so break for lunch, to get through 43 bills on the regular calendar, 2 off the consent calendar, plus 3 that were taken off the table, and 1 more that was reconsidered. It was a long day and I’ll try to review some highlights.
So, Kids, What Did We Learn From This Week’s House Session (3/21/24)?
We learned that it took from 10 am until 8 pm, with an hour break for lunch, to get through 44 bills, their amendments, and all the various motions. It was a very long day, but we got some good work accomplished. I won’t go through everything, but let’s review some highlights.
9th Annual 2A FREEDOM RALLY – This Weekend!
This Saturday, the Women’s Defense League will hold its 9th annual Second Amendment rally at the State House in Concord—a perfect precursor to St. Paddy’s Day on Sunday!

We learned that we had a full day with 52 House bills on the agenda but didn’t get through all of them. As the hour got late, we saved 10 for next week. We also learned that when Republicans show up, they stop bad bills from advancing and move good bills forward. Read more below.
Multiple GUN CONTROL Hearings on February 2nd!
From the Women’s Defense League: On Friday, February 2nd, in the Legislative Office Building (located behind the state house), in rooms 202-204, there will be multiple gun control hearings held in the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.
Gun Control Hearing – January 31st
From the Women’s Defense League: On Wednesday January 31st at 3:15 PM there will be a gun control hearing in the House Judiciary Committee.
The bill is House Bill 1037 – AN ACT relative to repealing limited liability for manufacturers, distributors, dealers, or importers of firearms or ammunition.
GUN CONTROL ALERT – Michael Bloomberg’s Red Flag Bill

On Thursday, January 25th at 1:30 PM, a hearing is planned in the Senate Judiciary Committee for Michael Bloomberg’s Red Flag bill, aka ‘Extreme Risk Protection Orders’ (Senate Bill 360).
Gun Control Bills in the Senate – January 9th
On Tuesday, January 9th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, there will be two gun control bills heard in the New Hampshire Senate Judiciary Committee. There is also a pro-2A bill that will be heard. If you can do it, show up AGAINST these bills.
So Kids, What Did We Learn From This Week’s House Session (03/09/23)?
We learned that it was a really good day for gun rights, school choice, property rights preservation, and saying NO to things like carbon taxes and green energy schemes. Republicans were truly in the majority today, and we accomplished some very good things!
