I have zero doubts I’m on a “watch list” – have been for years. I have a decades-long history of writing letters to the editor, of writing “uncomfortable” letters to elected officials, etc. And if I die in this – as, honestly, I expect to – at least then I can face my Creator saying I did something, not went blindly like a sheep to the slaughter.
Doubly-so if, when events prove them wrong and you right, their world view of themselves as “intelligent” and “educated” and “otherwise superior” is called into question.

While I do have hope America (and the West) can be saved, increasingly I’m thinking it’s a fool’s hope. My only hope is to survive to help rebuild afterwards:

And while I’ll still weep, and while I’ll still fight hoping to avert the collapse, I know that with people like this we will preserve the seed corn of liberty, and rebuild.
