The Ukraine government, headed by Volodymyr Zelensky, has been using American taxpayers’ funds to pay dearly for the vitally needed diesel fuel that is keeping the Ukrainian army on the move in its war with Russia. Concluding thoughts if I’m moved to comment:
This is not credible or believable. A major directional shift in marketing strategy HAS TO BE approved by the highest levels. It has to be. Never mind what I see as staggering ego to think that such a move is required on the basis of one person’s say-so. Even having artwork commissioned for a special-run can has to go through multiple people.
The picture is broader. Consider the drag queen story hours, or other degeneracy that’s happening including child-pr0n books in school libraries. Or some of the “body positive” TV shows being shown in Europe. For example: UK: TV Show Exposing Children to Naked Adults Sees Broadcast Regulator Inundated With Complaints.
Someone has to conceive the idea… and then think it’s a good enough idea to pitch it. Someone has to receive that pitch, agree, and move it up the food chain actively lobbying for support all the way. Someone has to make the final call to give it the green light. Someone has to budget for these things, to recruit performers or others to participate. Parents of kids have to assent to let their kids participate.
The cast of characters in all these things coming to fruition is legion, and it brings to mind a phrase from – I want to say – Vox Day (IIRC), to wit:
SJWs don’t want to make a profit, they want to make a difference.
And it suddenly occurred to me that SJWs rise to the actual definition of parasite, albeit an intellectual rather than physical one: an entity that enters and then co-opts an organization and leverages that organization’s resources to further its own ends. Thus they drive their own ideological reproduction by infesting and taking over otherwise-viable entities, diverting that entity’s financial and creative resources to push the spreading of that which they, not the entity, find appealing.
Tell me, how is that not ideological parasitism?
