And no, it’s not about Holy Water, either. A picture of two candidates – why didn’t you hear a squawk out of the MSM about the second one? Oh, Narrative:
First: One in a black church
Second: One outside a church on the public sidewalk
So, one is politicking inside the church, taking a knee in a political gesture. The other is outside a church, that was ransacked by rioters, holding what seemingly used to be that church’s sacred text, a Bible (given what I’ve been reading and blogging about, I’m not sure many in its extremely liberal hierarchy would even recognize it).
Which one took heat? Why am I even asking the question – of course, Trump. Every single MSM outlet jumped all over it and scorned him. Yet, for all of the hoopla that the Left screams about “separation of Church and State” (go ahead, make my day, show me where that phrase is in our Constitutions), Leftist politicians in every election cycle head to churches, especially black ones, to campaign for votes.
So much for the “equality” nonsense that the MSM, who consider themselves our moral superiors, keeps yammering at us for but refuses to practice it ourselves.
There’s a reason why Glenn Reynolds’ (from Instapundit) phrase keeps ringing truer and truer: Democrats with bylines.
