Something Else Concord and Chicago Have in Common – Hiding Sexual Assault in Public Schools

Concord Democrats would love to have some of that Chicagoland gun-control. While they wait, they already have something else very ‘Chicago.’ An inability or unwillingness to protect students from sexual predators in their school system.

The report complained that investigators found evidence of “widespread” failure to properly investigate reports of sexual abuse lodged by children and employees.

It is a problem that’s been festering for years in the windy city’s public schools. Everywhere, actually. Public school sex assault claims make those priests look like pikers. And wouldn’t you know, Concord New Hampshire can claim a cover-up.

For several years a known sexual predator has stalked the halls of the Concord Public School system -getting overly familiar with young female students. Who (by the way) the same Democrats would allow to secretly get an abortion without their parents or law enforcement ever knowing if it came to that.

Now that’s progressive.

Concord’s contribution to the We want to be like Chicago Club is Primo Howie LeungFollow the link for background if you are not familiar. But the short version reads like this. Leung, a diversity hire, was a popular teacher with a history of inappropriate conduct that was repeatedly hush-hushed and fast-tracked by school administrators and teacher’s union reps into the nothing to see here file.

Until Leung got arrested.

“Howie” has been playing this game since he was a young adult and in at least two states. There is no clear indication of how many young girls he has touched, fondled, or kissed. But no one appears to have needed the no-tell services of someone like Dr. Ulrich Klopfer.

There are other similarities as well.

Local media in Chicago have chronicled the troubling extent of sexual assault in Chicago Public Schools for years, as well as the failure of school district authorities to properly respond to those complaints.

Local media in New Hampshire has been chronicling this case, which drove the District Superintendent to lash out about the coverage and local response. She later apologized after a petition surfaced to remove her from office.

She needs to go but does the board have the stones or are they in on it too?

Concord is a mess but it isn’t a bloody mess like Chicago where hundreds die every year from violence. Yes, Democrats want the same anti-gun laws that made it that way. And veto override day is coming. They are going to gather in Concord to try and find the votes to push us down that path at the state level.

Until then one of the major complaints in Chicago is staff and administrators failing to investigate accusations of sexual assault. Just like Concord, until their predator got arrested by Massachusetts police and they had no choice.

No more hiding Mr. Leung.
