The Realities of DemocratCare…. or ‘They Don’t Call us “The Right!” For Nothing.’ Part III

You can keep your Doctor and your Coverage…..or not. It’s easy to get lost in the numbers: CareFirst is dropping healthcare coverage for 76,000 because of Obamacare.  In Florida, Obamacare is costing 300,000 their health insurance. State by state, Americans can expect to pay more to get less from the health insurance, again thanks to … Read more

The Realities of DemocratCare…. or ‘They Don’t Call us “The Right!” For Nothing.’ Part IV

Democrat Care is so good…Even Doctors are losing their coverage

Obamacare, aka the Affordable Care Act, came packaged with lofty promises. President Obama said his law was supposed to make denials of insurance based on pre-existing conditions a thing of the past. President Obama specifically promised that Americans would no longer be denied coverage based on pre-existing conditions, along with promising that if we like our doctors and current health care plans, we can keep them.

So imagine Dr. Carpenter’s shock when he received the news that he and his family were losing their health insurance at the end of this year.

From the Crony Capitalism Files: Michelle O’s CGI Connection

healthcare-dot-gov-is-open-really-2It was only a matter of time after the hysterically botched launch of healthcare.gov that the repugnant stench of crony capitalism would seep through the cork and its putrescence would pall over the nation like a smog of rotting fish shrouding commuters on a crisp afternoon in Beijing.

A stench so steamy and acrid that not even the flatulent filtering underwear can withstand the load– and that’s saying something because these undies are made to withstand chemical warfare!

It turns out Michelle Obama, the First Lady who finally became proud of her country only after her husband decided to run for President, seems to have played a part in the picking and choosing of the company that was to detonate the most spectacular display of government incompetence I think I’ve ever seen.  It had the President doing infomercials it was so magnificently egregious.  A case study for what not to do. We need more of these to prove the point for limited government… anyway..

From TheDC:

First Lady Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website.

The Realities of DemocratCare…. or ‘They Don’t Call us “The Right!” For Nothing.’ Part V

Anyone with even a basic understanding of markets could tell you that a regulatory/government monopoly on health insurance was guaranteed to do exactly the opposite of what Democrats promised (lied) when trying to push ObamaCare on America.

Here’s the most famous promise (pair of promises), from King Obama himself.

Democrats will say anything to advance their agenda.

Obama Stasi Raid Journalist’s Home For One Thing – Walk Out With Another

Stasi - Are anti0gun Democrats imbeciles or advocates of the police state? In a less well know act of government vs. Journalists, a freelance reporter who had done investigative work on agencies under Homeland Security, had her home raided in early August.  The search warrant was to look for arms or ammunition that the reporters husband was not supposed to have, but they managed to seize without right or knowledge a number of files that included the names of confidential informants who had provided details on scandles within Homeland Security.

The informants are now at risk.  Anyone within the government who observes lies, corruption, or wrong doing, has been sent another message–we will find you.

The Party Exists Because of the Principles, Not the Other Way Around

Free association in any group is based on the presumption that those who choose to join will promote the groups “charter.’  They will support its mission.  That those charged with leading that mission will develop and deploy strategies to advance those shared goals.

The current leadership of the GOP and the NHGOP has a platform that espouses principles.   But instead of using them to stand up for property rights, rule of law, self-responsibility, and local control, they use them like a siren calling ships that then crash upon their rocky shores.  They are hoping that once trapped there, they will simply play along.  Those that do not or who are upset over the deception are scolded, derided, even bullied for expecting the party to stand up for the principles in its own platform.

The Fall of Barack

The Fall of Barack is a great article By William L. Gensert over at American Thinker. Take ObamaCare, for instance … Read more

Government Did Build That – And it Sucks!

Happy Train
Obama care- Like Riding on the ‘Happy Train’

One of the things Obama and the Democrats refused to give Republican’s to avoid or end the PR shutdown of the Federal Government was a delay in the individual mandate.  Businesses got one.  They thought it only fair that the law apply equally to all.  Everyone should get the same delay privileges.  Democrats disagreed and anyone who thought the delay a good idea hated the sick, wanted people to die and was an uncaring extremist, or some other awful thing.

A week later and Jeanne Shaheen and the Democrat party “hate the sick, want people to die, and are uncaring extremists.”  (Among other things)

Jim Geraghty – NRO

The (Democrats) sudden enthusiasm for delaying the individual mandate is a mind-boggling turn of events, considering the administration’s line last month that delaying the individual mandate was the policy equivalent of the Ghostbusters crossing the streams.

Why could they not see the need for delay back in late September, in early October, when they were asked to consider it in return for avoiding or ending the shutdown?   They were told that the shutdown was an electoral winner and that ObamaCare would lauch.  Sure, like a North Korean ICBM.  (Splash!)

Don’t You Just Love It When A Health Care Plan “Comes Together?”

It is not about state spending, Healthy states are about libertyDemocrats wanted the Affordable Care Act.  No elected official knew what was in it but they had talking points.  Keep your doctor.  Lower premiums.  Won’t raise the deficit or debt.  Care and access for everyone.  You’ll breeze in and out, health care in hand, doves fly, balloons drift skyward, not a care in the world the Democrats are on it. It’ll be fast and easy, like BamaShite through a Goose.

What we got was more like Jimmy Carter rescuing Embassy Hostages.

NH BIA Supports Common Core, But How Many of their Dues Paying Memebers Would Agree?

The real purpose of Common Core ThePeoplesCube.com
The real purpose of Common Core
ThePeoplesCube.com

The New Hampshire Business and Industrial Association, see also BIA, see also the same BIA that had no objection to the NH Democrat majority cramming a late-night-last-minute-LLC tax on small businesses a few years back—right up until they were convinced to be against it, has come out in favor of Common Core.

Common Core is a disaster.  Teachers hate it.  Administrators hate it.  People who blindly supported it are being pilloried by parents and educators alike.  Anyone who takes the time to get to know it on the first date, changes their phone number and refuses to answer the door when it comes to call.  So why should we be surprised that the BIA supports it?

Do You Have Any Idea Just How Good This News Is?

Stay with me….(From the Union Leader)

The House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee on Tuesday recommended killing a bill that would have allowed the state to discuss running its own health insurance exchange under the Affordable Care Act.

House Bill 544 would have removed a prohibition in a 2012 law forbidding the state from running its own exchange and prohibiting state agencies from direct involvement with the federal exchange…The committee vote came a day after Gov. Maggie Hassan said through a spokesman that the 2012 state law, passed by what was then a Republican-controlled Legislature, was “extremely misguided” and “should be reconsidered.”

Why is it that Democrats want this for New Hampshire?  Why would they consider the prohibition ‘extremely misguided?’  Why should it be reconsidered?

Your Democrat Governor and the New Hampshire Democrat Party have their orders.
