Republican Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has done what we expect a liberal to do. Use a handful of harm to destroy an entire sector of an industry for which the progressives already had it out. He banned vaping state-wide. My response? Shop in New Hampshire.
Charlie Baker is a registered Republican in Massachusetts. Even real Republicans know what that means (Democrat) – and Democrats surround him. So the knee-jerk 4-month vaping ban in the Bay State was not surprising. Nor was the massive uptick in sales in New Hampshire.
Aftermarket vaping cartridges have been making people ill. Some have died. Massachusetts responded by banning the sale of vaping products in the State for four months. While some are filing lawsuits and staging protests cross border sales in New Hampshire are up. Way up.
New Hampshire Democrats introduced a tax on vaping products this session. For the children. They don’t want anyone getting addicted to nicotine (which does not cause cancer) because they might switch to cigarettes (which do). The logical conclusion of this is the total ban implemented in San Francisco.
