Solar was never green. The lifecycle footprint from manufacture to transportation, installation, and end of life is top-heavy, with materials and processes that produce a lot of pollution. That was true before China captured most of the market.
You may have heard me say this a time or two. Neither Wind nor Solar is clean or green. They can’t even scratch the surface of our power needs now. Forget adding more demand from EVs or whatever. It’s all a lie and a very dirty lie.
New Hampshire Business Review (NHBR) likes to publish Dan Weeks’ “thoughts” on various issues, mostly climate and green energy-related, Seacoast real estate (which needed serious debunking), and now his opposition to HB544 which we simply can’t ignore.
The collective unconscious has yet to realize this scientific fact. Green Energy is bad for the environment. Wind and Solar are dirty, carbon-intensive at both the beginning and end of life and unrecyclable – but that’s not bad enough. Biden* has plans to make solar more dangerous.
Long before creepy hedge-fund manager Tom Steyer was a political force, he ran a company and got uber-rich off dirty coal. His influence in this area will be felt across India, China, and South East Asia for decades. Put another way, his green activism and green campaign are run on dirty coal money.
This will not be news to most of our readers. Green Energy infrastructure is dirty on the front end and the back end. There are issues in between as well, but here’s one point that gets overlooked. The materials needed are mined, primarily by child labor.
