NH Sen. Maggie Hassan Says Masks Help: Evidence Proves They Do Nothing

Taking New Hampshire Democrat US Senator Maggie Hassan’s opinion on public health matters officially ranks up there with consulting her on cybersecurity. It’s a bad idea. And sorry for another COVID19 post but, like election stealing it is too important not to keep on a front burner.

Hassan’s Senate office experienced the single biggest reported cybersecurity failure in US Senate history.  She followed that up by submitting a cybersecurity bill and was invited to consult an NH county on the problem of network security.

You don’t solve a failure in leadership by pretending you can lead. So, this is caught my attention.

Hasssan Mask Mandates

There is increasing evidence that they do nothing. Healthy people gain no advantage and depending on whose scientists you believe, the practice is actually dangerous to them.

First, they do nothing, failing to deliver on advertised benefits at every opportunity.

Masking vs Casedemic

We’ve shared some of these graphs in the past and they’ve been getting a lot more play thanks to Tom woods, so bear with me if you’ve seen them, but we can’t stop making this point.

Closer to home. Maskachusetts has had a state-wide mask mandate most of the year and is now experiencing a massive spike in reported cases. Gov. Baker is amping gup his maskstapo tactics, demanding a full mask mandate with few exceptions.

But masks do not slow or stop the spread.

But, but, wait, you say. No, I say. A Danish Study published YESTERDAY in the Annals of Internal Medicine determined that,

The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection.

None of what the politicians are demanding makes any difference. None of it.

Massachusetts’s own data tell us there is no correlation to mask-wearing, cases, and fatalities. The Bay State has had a mask mandate since May so we have a ton of data.

Where exactly does this science demonstrate that masks accomplish any of the stated goals?

There is no relationship between masks and cases, or cases and deaths. None. And not just in Maskachusetts. It’s an act fo fraud

Sen. Maggie Hassan is aping the approved narrative and should be ignored.

What we do need is to keep the pressure on Gov. Sununu and the newly elected Republican legislature to not just live by these facts but promote them, share them, use them and their soapbox to educate the people.

COVID is real, but it’s not the monster they claim nor is it a threat to healthy people, not in Massachusetts, Denmark, or New Hampshire.

“Protect the vulnerable, let everyone else live their life.”
