If the economy is getting better…(Part 3)

by Steve MacDonald

foodstamp nation - 14 million more on food stamps under Obama…then why has the number of Americans on food stamps increased by 3 million since this time last year and by more than 14 million since Barack Obama entered the White House?

There’s something to put on your resume.

“When I was President (pause) we created or saved (pause) a kajillion billion jobs (pause) but somehow (pause) put 14 million people on food stamps in the process.” (applause from adoring media, I mean Democrats–eh, same thing.)

How does that work?

Did I miss the sound bite where Nancy Pelosi says that putting people on food stamps is one of the best ways to inject money into the economy? Correct me if I’m wrong here but that sounds more like giving syphilis to an AIDS patient.

In what universe is an economy better when 6 million jobs vanish, and unemployment compensation becomes an occupation in itself?

“So what do you do Joe?”

“I work for the government.”

“Really, doing what?”

“I’m professionally unemployed.  Dorioto? “

Wait! I figured it out.  The economy is better…than the one we’ll have if we leave Obama and the Democrats running Washington.
