Mike Brunelle – Quitter!

Back on July 7th I Tweeted an announcement that Democrat Mike Brunelle, Party XO and NH House rep was leaving for greener pastures.  Money-green.  He’s off to run the SEIU in Transylvania, um Pennsylvania.

Tweet%20-%20Brunelle%20Go%20Bye%20Bye.gifMy first thought, naturally, was don’t let the door hit you in the (Donkey) on the way out.

There is also this observation from Steve Vaillancourt over at NHI, filled with priceless irony – what if Brunelle’s departure to work for the evil union gives Speaker O’Brien that one vote he needs to ovveride the Lynch Right to Work Veto?

Sweet!

And then I had another thought, more closely aligned with the kind of political slime democrats love to soak in.

Doesn’t this make Brunelle a quitter?

He served half his term, noticed a big shiny payoff on the horizon and just quit for the money?

I’m not entirely sure but I think we could probably come with any number of suitable quotes from the mouth-a-sauraus left on the subject of quitting in the middle of your term.   In fact, I bet we could probably find quotes from Mike Brunelle about it.Brunelles Fool

This is why the democrat party is forever a source of amusement to me.  Let’s make sure we always keep just a few of them around for fun.  No, they don’t have to wear jester hats every time they speak we know exactly who the Fool is.
