It’s still early but the current forecast shows the U.S. House could flip to a Democrat Majority by one seat.
That one seat probably makes Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the Chamber which means New Hampshire could decide whether or not we get two years of her radical nonsense or the nation is saved from her clownish leadership.

Fear of political retribution for supporting one of the most unliked Democrats in modern history has prompted all nine of the primary contestants in the Democrats to Replace Shea-Porter CD-1 fashion who to shun the political stylings of party Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Michael Graham, writing at Inside Sources, observes that, while they appear to cover the spectrum of options for Democrat primary voters, “they all have one thing in common: None of them say they’ll vote to make Nancy Pelosi House Speaker.”
Nancy Pelosi announced that one of the first things Democrats will do when they regain control is to repeal and replace recent Republican Tax reforms. And she promises it will be bipartisan and done in daylight, (unlike healthcare reform, I guess). So, what might that look like?
If previous proposals are any indication, Pelosi plans on instituting a major tax hike, particularly focused on punishing those same generous corporations. In a plan published last month, Congressional Democrats proposed a $1 trillion dollar tax hike, pushing the corporate tax rate from its current 21% to 25%, undoing tax breaks for high earners, and re-instituting a top tax bracket that could tax some Americans at a rate of nearly 40%.
Even after going along with President Obama and compromising on a deal to avoid the end-of-the-year “fiscal cliff,” Congress receives good or excellent marks for its job performance from just nine percent (9%) of Likely U.S. Voters. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 64% give the nation’s legislators poor marks.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers’ jobs.
“I don’t think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do,” Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. “I think it’s necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded.”
I DVR and watch the “Talking Head Sunday Morning shows” like Meet the Press, This Week, Face the Nation, and even WUMR’s Closeup”; why? Somebody is bound and determined to say something stupid. Well, it is still early and have only gone through Fox New Sunday, but Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi did not disappoint. In talking with Chris Wallace, the topic of gun control came up. Leaving aside her takeoff on why gun murders are so low in Japan (“noexplanation for that, except that they may have good gun laws”). Of COURSE, all acts of violence depends on taking her kinds of guns away from people she doesn’t like like. And she stands on the BEST part of the Constitution / Bill of Rights for “allowing” guns, too!
No further sales of assault weapons, what’s is the justification for an assault weapon? No further sales of those? No further sales of the increased capacity 30 rounds in a gun. We’re talking background checks which is very popular even among gun owners and hunters.
We avow the First Amendment. We stand with that and say that people have a right to have a gun to protect themselves and their homes and their jobs, where ever, and that they…and their workplace, for recreation and for hunting and the rest.
So we are not questioning their right to do that.
Sigh…shades of “Are you serious?” This women used to be the Speaker of the US House and now is the Minority Leader in the US House. Is it too much to expect that she’d get which Amendment speaks to what issue on one of the top issues of the day?

Democrats have tried to lay claim to New Hampshire values but that’s not going to happen. New Hampshire is about liberty, Live free or Die, local control, small government, and no broad based taxes, just like the TEA party. Tea Party values are about defending the Constitution and rule of law, small and accountable government, low taxes and free markets. NH Democrats are keen on painting a different picture, not just because they can’t run on their own records but because the root for their values is too freighting for them to acknowledge…
They have Nancy Pelosi Values.
New Hampshire Democrat values are Nancy Pelosi values, extreme left social and economic values that just two years ago they were actually proud of. Values that are nothing like New Hampshire values…so what has changed in the past two years? Nothing. But they will do or say anything to get back into power.

If unions were abortions everyone would have the right to chose not to be party to it. Some liberal justice would have long ago ensconced that “right” into the US Constitution. And we would not be having this debate in New Hampshire. Workers could decide if they wanted to abort the union. But Democrats are hypocrites and choice shall not be permitted in the workplace. You will not, cannot be permitted to choose for yourself.
Throw Them All Out, which hits bookshelves nationwide on Tuesday, reportedly contains a powder keg of original investigative information that suggests Pelosi leveraged her insider status to acquire her highly profitable Visa IPO and then used her congressional authority to shield Visa from disadvantageous legislation.
Does Carol SEIU-Porter agree with Nancy, that the reason the Democrats never passed a budget–it has been an historical 927 days–was that the “Republican would have filibustered it?” (Careful now….try to remember how many republicans there actually were before you answer)
Is this the NH Democrat parties postion as well, and that of the state union, SEA, SEIU, Teamsters and others who are insisting that New Hampshire workers have no right to opt out of paying union dues just to get a job? Does the Federal government have the right to close a business or a facility in our state, and force those workers out of their employment, simply becasue they are either not unionized or have voted to de-certify the union, as is the case in South Carolina?
Pelosi stood against reforming a bankrupt retirement scheme, and now she is taking the same tack here: Medicaid should not be reformed lest it appear as if it needs reform.
OK. It’s not threatening vehicular manslaughter, but I can see the progressives filling their diapers in rage on this one. They do so love Nancy. Thankfully this is the work of Jay Leno so if anyone is sewn so tight that they are actually offended by it, call him to complain.
I would like to thank them for providing me with material for Carol’s likely 2012 stumble to regain her seat, which clearly exemplifies one of many reasons why she should never be permitted to represent anyone in any position of power, ever again.
